Great stay, friendly, clean and easy walk into Perrenporth

Great stay again, we always stay here when we are in the area. Friendly and clean site, near to local town and beach. Lovely pizzas too!

Lovely chilled out vibe

Not far from a lovely big beach at Perranporth and it was nice to have the take away facilities visiting the site which saved cooking a few times. Shop on site with basics like bread and milk. Wifi charge was reasonable. Big well equipped play area for kids. Washing machines/tumble dryers on site. Felt a lot more relaxed than Caravan club sites. Pretty quiet after 10pm so slept well. Will definitely stay here again.

Great campsite for weekend escape

Just got back from a lovely weekend just outside Perranporth, the campsite was lovely, big pitches, clean and lots of washing facilities. Walk down to the beach is easy, the walk back up is not as easy but still lovely and close to the beach. Very friendly staff and great to have different food options each night from takeaway vans. Our only small (very small) comment is the WiFi, we paid to have it for one device for 48 hours, however the signal and drop out meant we could only use it in one position within the van. Not too much of an issue as we were out all the time but haven't had to pay for WiFi at other sites. Will be booking again soon!

Great stay

Great site, ideal location - close enough to walk to beach but away from all the hustle and bustle. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great size, spacious pitches. Good play area and Maya loved the animal corner.

Clean, friendly and well-equipped site

Very happy with my stay here. Wonderful facilities, spotlessly clean and the staff were kind and friendly. Really excellent value for money.

A very good location

We really enjoyed this lovely campsite it's friendly and quiet, a nice walk to Perranporth and the beach a bus stop just out side the campsite if you don't want to drive a good reliable service, they have fish and chips and pizza days at the campsite too, I would recommend this campsite as it's in a good location.

Jubilee weekend away

Very clean site and great location if you like a quiet site. Only one improvement would be the showers in the Willow Field for the ladies, as they were not great. Shower pressure was very poor and, if no one else was using them, the temperature was very hot but then warm when anyone else was there. But at busier times, the water was warm at best, but more often very cold. My husband said the men's showers were fine so maybe the positioning of ladies shower explains this. The service was lovely, all staff were very friendly and everywhere was spotless. Would highly recommend. Great walks to the beach and town.

Tollgate farm - weekend stay

Great stay at Tollgate, lovely site with friendly, helpful staff who will go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Brilliant location with only 20 minutes walk or a short car journey to Perranporth which has a beautiful beach and nice little town. The farm itself has good facilities, well maintained pitches and easy access to toilets and showers. The staff were extremely helpful when my husband had a blow out, meaning we were unable to vacate the pitch at normal check-out time. They were really understanding which helped us a lot, given the stress of it being a bank holiday weekend and us being 250 miles from home. Would definitely go back.

Perfect place to set up- great facilities, great service, dog friendly and location brilliant.

Fantastic campsite

Stayed here for 2 nights, we had a fantastic time. The facilities for the children are brilliant, my kids were constantly over the playing fields. The toilets/showers were kept really clean on a daily basis. Would happily stay again.

A fabulous campsite, an easy walk from Perranporth with good on site facilities and visits from a variety of caterers.

Fantastic little find

Stayed in a pod for 2 nights (long weekend away). They pods are very basic so if you're planning on staying more than a nice or two, remember to bring your camping gear. However, for our stay, we had everything we needed, mainly a comfy bed. Great value for money. Very clean. Well maintained campsite, with all the amenities needed, very polite and friendly staff. Great place for families, couples and single travellers, even dogs are welcome. Within walking distance of Perranporth Beach and 30 min-ish drive to Truro. Plenty of restaurants within driving distance. Will definitely stay again and I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. Only wished I could have stayed longer.

Lots of room between tents and caravans, good facilities and clean, fantastic beach 5 mins away and lots of dog walking areas. I would highly recommend this site and have no doubt I will be back for another stay.

Fabulous campsite

We are a middle aged couple who love camping. We have to say that this is one of the best sites we have stayed on. It was clean and very friendly. Facilities were first class. Even the herb garden was something we have never seen before. If you love coastal walks, this site is in a great position. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends and family.

Perfect site

Clean warm facilities with hot water, flat pitches, quiet at night, loads of walks down to Perranporth/connecting to the South West Coast path, great views. All good!

Lovely quiet little site in the Cornish countryside

Lovely little site, nice kids play area and dog friendly. Would absolutely recommend this site, we found the staff to be nice and friendly, the gentleman who booked us in was very nice even had a bit of banter with him which was nice. The little shop closes at 4pm, so if you need anything make sure you get in there early. There’s no entertainment on-site, but we preferred this as we wanted a nice quiet get away to relax and unwind and that’s exactly what we got here. The tent pitches are very generous sizes, I have a very large tent and there was ample room for it and the car on our pitch. The site is about a 15/20 minute drive from Newquay where there are a lot of things to do for both adults and kids. So overall I’d definitely come back to this site and would recommend it if you want a quiet break away fairly close to the beach and shops (just a walk or bus journey)

Well worth the money

It was a lovely site, quiet, clean and very large pitches. The only thing that let it down was there was not a lot of showers, the first half of our week there wasn't many guests but the latter part when it started to fill up there was a long wait for the showers and when they were closed for cleaning the "other block" wasn't open.

Great site!

Great site with plenty of space. A good location, near enough to walk in / out of Perranporth, but not right in the town, but right next to Perran dunes, so great for walks etc.

Great stay

We stayed for 4 nights in August. Even in peak time there was never a wait for showers etc, which were clean and hygienic. Short, scenic walk to Perranporth where there is a lovely beach and lots of shops, cafes and bars to enjoy. The pizza van that visits is an excellent added bonus! The whole site is great and ideally located to explore more of Cornwall. Would definitely recommend 👌

Camping experience

A spacious and clean site. Close to Perranporth. Good value for money. Friendly staff. Taken care of very well. Clean and well maintained facilities. A quiet site that would not suit anyone wanting entertainment facilities, but perfect for those that just want a relaxing holiday.
