Good size entrance and well maintained spacious pitches. Friendly welcoming staff, light and bright heated shower and toilet block, well located and immaculately clean with softly piped music. Microwave oven and large freezer free to use for campers, perfect central location for miles of walking and visiting local attractions and beaches.

As we decided to go camping right at the end of October we were the only tent there and we only saw 2 other people staying. Some of the toilets were closed off, but that makes sense given how few people were using them. Facilities were clean and handy for our pitch, the motion sensors in the toilet block were good and I liked the music playing. Only reason for 4 stars on service was the person who showed us to our pitch said he’d come back with the wifi code and didn’t, but reception was great so we didn’t need it. If we had there was a number to call and I’m sure they would have got it for us. We had to pack up a day early due to gale force winds being forecast and our pitch wasn’t very sheltered with low hedges separating them, but we can’t blame them for autumn weather! Maybe higher hedges would have helped. Great location for getting to various tourist spots in Cornwall, and the St Days Inn was only 5 mins walk away and very welcoming. A few shops in the village too should you need.

We stayed at the park for 5 nights in the tent with electric hook up. Very peaceful and quiet. The facilities were great. Very dog friendly.
