Lovely view, but facilities were minimal/poor and no staff made their presence known the whole time we stayed!

Beautiful setting for campsite, lovely if you want a peaceful break, but want to be close to St Ives. Clean & well laid out. Shower/toilet block clean & spacious.

Lovely place with massive caravan spacing. Facilities very clean and easy access. But this is a remote place, with a thin lane leading to it. But there are lovely walk and cycle rides in this area. There is also a pub a mile away on the main road, which is a nice old pub.

A well-laid out site very close to St Ives, with a convenient bus stop into the town. We stayed over the bank holiday and had a great time. The facilities are well maintained and clean, and they have a timeless quality which adds to the general atmosphere - no new modern blocks! It was just a shame the bar and shop were shut, but this did not detract from our stay. I would thoroughly recommend this slightly quieter site than some others nearby.

The available facilities were spotless, with plenty of hot water available in the showers and washing up areas. Tom was friendly although rather busy. However, a lack of staff meant that facilities such as the shop and the bar were not available.

Great place, great location. Our kids loved it. Hope to go again.

We travelled to the site, hoping for a relaxing couple of days. When we booked in, the young boy seemed very disinterested. He apologised for the lack of cleanliness in reception, stating that the family were undecided whether to close up or not. Apparently, fuel costs had ruined the business and nobody seemed to want to travel. Although polite and helpful in changing our pitch to one with EHU, it was next to a loud and messy group of men, although they were only there for one night. There was no shop on site and the restaurant was closed, again citing that they had no staff to run it. To be honest, we may as well have saved our money and wild camped for a few nights. I am sorry, but I cannot recommend this location.

A lovely quiet and clean campsite with good shower and toilet facilities - good location a couple of miles outside St Ives. It would have been great if the footpaths running to the side of and from the campsite were more accessible, but I realise that's down to the landowners involved/Cornwall County Council.

The only criticism I have is regarding the access to the site. When we arrived, the access symbol at the entrance showed it was not suitable for a box type vehicle. As our motorhome met that criteria, we continued past that point (as per our campervan sat nav's directions) up lanes in a complete circle and due to not being able to turn round, we had to continue, to which we damaged all along the near side of the van, cracking the window, and denting the door so badly we where unable to open it to use it. We feel that the campsite needs better instructions on how to enter it safely especially for motorhomes.

Nowhere for dogs to run and no dog walking areas. An enclosed field would of been good Shop was empty of any sort of food although it states there is an onsite supermarket Cafe was closed due to COVID in the middle of nowhere with no facilities for dogs

We booked this site because it said it was fairly flat and had facilities for disabled people. On arrival we were placed at the top of a sloping field far from any facilities (they had been informed we had a wheelchair user with us). The toilet/shower facilities were difficult to access, the shower room was dreadful and extremely difficult to use. The disabled chair was wobbly and threatened to fall to pieces. The standard shower and toilet facilities for the rest of our group were very dirty with lots of hair and dirt on the floor of the showers, it was stomach churning. I found the shop to be lacklustre and half empty. The games room and pub were up steps so totally inaccessible. All of this was made worse by the cost which was three times that of our next holiday site and was beautifully landscaped, fantastic facilities, friendly staff and spotlessly clean. I will never use Penderleath campsite again.

Run down site in need of a bit of TLC, which is fine. But then don't charge the higher amount just because of location

Sustainable camping is now in our future. This setting worked in so many ways. Near a meal & outdoor adventure hub. Walking distance to beaches. Wildflowers surrounding our pitch. Spacious and no cars blocking our views. People were friendly. The weather was perfect. We will go again.
