About Bakewell Camping and Caravanning Club Site
The site is an idyllic getaway with plenty of walks and several nature reserves to explore in the area, as well as the varied attractions of the Peak District. Pitches here are on both hardstanding and grass with electric included. Non-members welcome.

Please note that this site does not have toilet or shower facilities, so you will need your own. You'll have access to ice pack freezing and a designated dog walk on site.

Things to do on site and in the Bakewell area
In addition to outdoor pursuits such as climbing, caving, walking and cycling, the area is home to a variety of great attractions.
All around you are stately homes such as Haddon Hall, and picturesque towns and villages. The National Tramway Museum in Crich is a lovely way to delve into the area's colourful history.
The nearest village to the site is Youlgreave, which has a post office, two butchers and three good pubs which will offer you a warm welcome. The popular town of Bakewell, is just over five miles away, with a variety of shops, cafés and restaurants plus a chance to try the famous Bakewell tart.
