Broad Park is a small, laid back certificated site nestled in the beautiful, unspoilt countryside. You'll be parked up in a tranquil location, surrounded by nature, with a selection of grass and hardstanding pitches. If you're looking for a little more luxury, cosy Shepherd's Huts are also available for glamping. No need to wander far, however, as it's a 5 minute drive from The Big Sheep family theme park, and 10 minutes from Peppercombe Beach.

First visit to this campsite and to North Devon (which is stunning) and it won't be our last. The views from all grass pitches are just lovely, from the thatched cottage to the horse paddock at the top of the hill. Our kids loved interacting and feeding the Alpacas and goats. Toilet facilities and amenities room are brilliantly arranged, all very clean and conveniently located. Found the location to be a perfect balance. Close enough to amenities in Bideford and local tourist attractions, but just far enough away to feel remote from the outside world. We had great weather, which enhanced the experience, but the set up at this site is a credit to the owners.

Just 2 hardstanding pitches (plus camping field that is closed in winter), so 2 male, 2 female toilets and 2 showers were sufficient. All amenities were impeccably clean. Indoor washing up room was a welcome bonus, along with fridge, freezer, kettle & toaster for campers use. Very quiet - no farm or animal noise at all. Will stay again when we are next in this area.

Absolutely brilliant camping in a beautiful setting. So peaceful and exceptionally clean and well organised. Few pitches meant no queues to toilets and showers, which were very clean. Also an honesty box for a selection of snacks on sale in amenities room. Will definitely book again.

Stayed one night just to get away in our van for the last time before winter kicks in. Everything you need is here, animals were super friendly and the pitches were clean and tidy.

Very lovely site. Well kept and clean. Great relaxed atmosphere. Bit of a trek up the hill to the top pitches but the views and atmosphere more than made up for it. Chickens, goats and Alpacas too! We will be returning π

The stay here was amazing, so peaceful, family friendly, beautiful and fun! The only thing to fault was the weather. The facilities were great and have no faults what so ever! We will be returning soon. Also lots of family activities not far from the camp, and beach is a 5 min drive. Loved every second.

Lovely farm stay, with goats, alpaca's, free range chickens and two horses. There is food for the goats and you can feed the horses grass - we were feeding the chickens with scraps of carrot which they loved. The amenities are clean, tidy and appropriate. Showers are hot and well sized. The amenities block also contains a fridge and freezer, which turned out to be very useful when our motorhome fridge went on the blink. They have fire pits that you can hire out and pre chopped timber and kindling. We were lucky enough to be given a fire pit that one of the other campers had already paid for but they had to leave before using it, so it was a very nice surprise. The only negatives were that the entry road is very narrow with high hedges. We have a 7.4m long x 2.35m wide motorhome and if we would have met traffic coming toward us they could not have passed and we would have needed to reverse a very significant distance. Realistically more suited to narrower vans of smaller size. We made it but I needed a stiff drink afterwards to claim the nerves. Also, the lack of WIFI is unfortunate - not a big deal and I am aware they are looking to improve this. Overwhelmingly this is a very nice place. I recommend it especially for families with young children who will be delighted by the tame chickens. All in all great place, highly recommend it, quiet, relaxing, great place to just chill.

Thank you for the lovely review and glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes we can't have wifi on the campsite until fibre is set up in the village, but it does state we don't have wifi on this booking site, hopefully soon.

Although we booked for three nights, we only stayed for two due to the weather. The site was perfect for us (2 adults and three teenagers) we all fell in love with the goats and really enjoyed feeding them. The site was clean and the pitches were spaced out. It had everything we needed, clean showers/toilets, an honesty shop and a place to wash up, a fridge available and kettle. Beautiful scenery, we are definitely coming back. Visited Bude and the soapbox derby at Bideford, both really enjoyed.

What a lovely campsite! Clean, friendly, and quiet; everything we were looking for. We especially appreciated the information file places in the amenities room - stating useful information about the local amenities, including places to eat locally and recommendations for places to visit. We really liked the fact that even though the campsite felt very rural, we were quite central to everything we could possibly want while on holidays. We are definitely going to visit this camp site again soon. We can't wait!

Great little peaceful site. Lovely owners, very helpful. Nice and quiet at this time of year as there are only two hard standing pitches and two Shepherd's huts open. Grass pitches open at Easter. Comical goats, gentle, very friendly and like to be fed! Very close to big sheep and the beautiful picturesque village of Bucks Mills. The closest sandy beach is Westward Ho, just a short drive away. Nice place to re-energise and get away from it all.

Lovely site with great facilities. The toaster was most welcome. However it is difficult to find so better signs from the main road would help, especially when arriving at dusk.

Glad you had a good stay. We do have 2 signs on the main road, but maybe because it was dusk you didn't see them.

What a little gem of a campsite! I booked this site because of the animals! It didn't disappoint in any way. Two pitches per level ensures you don't feel crowded. Loads of space between pitches. Loved the way each pitch has a picnic bench and fire pits available to hire complete with logs. The facilities were very clean, modern and comfortable to use. The amenities room has a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer in it along with snacks. Local guide leaflets to plan your trips out. The site is very well maintained with lots of lovely touches like flower planters and plaques and wall hangings. Plenty of bin space for your rubbish and recycling along with fresh water taps - one available right next to the pitch we chose which was handy! Sadly, we had appalling weather with torrential rain and high winds which meant we were unable to barbecue and enjoy being sat at the bench with a few beers. We did not let that ruin our stay though, we just watched the animals. We will be back
