Clear filters Great place to stay with friends or kids
Jul 2025 Great stay - absolutely amazing for kids and everything thought of by hosts.
Lots of toys, space and even chickens for the children to get involved with. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need.

Bell Tent - Lotus Belle Tents Jun 2025 We had a lovely 3 night stay here.
The tents were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. So many small details had been thought of to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable.
Great place for young children and only 10 minutes drive from the beach at Woolacombe.

A lovely birthday weekend away
Bell Tent - Lotus Belle Tents Jun 2024 We decided to have a last-minute getaway for the weekend as it was my birthday. The owner, Ella, welcomed us shortly after we arrived and told us about the facilities.
The tent, showers, and composting toilet were all impeccably clean. The kitchen pod was well-fitted out and had everything you could want. When we arrived, the farm had some new-born calves and each tent had its own chickens who provided eggs for breakfast. We had birds nesting in the roof of the toilet pod and the dawn chorus was beautiful. It was perfect for us as a couple and would also suit a family of four (younger kids) or would make an amazing base for a small group to take the whole site.
Cheglinch Farm Glamping is a great location for exploring the North Devon coast and is highly recommended.

fantastic location, beautiful spot, clean bell tents and facilities and we liked it even more after our 3 night stay.
Everything has been so well thought out; comfortable (proper beds and hot showers!) while still maintaining all the 'wild' fun you want when glamping (fire pits, outdoor kitchen, outdoor play area and loads of space for the kids to run around). Highly recommend!
Fantastic place to stay
Bell Tent - Lotus Belle Tents May 2023 We had the most peaceful stay. The location is idyllic, especially if you have young children. They can run around safely (& wild) in a beautiful safe spot.
Ella the host, was so lovely upon arrival and Barney (Ella's dog), is an added bonus.
I would highly recommend this site.
Peaceful and comfortable
Aug 2022 Ella the host is wonderfully welcoming and provides everything you need and more. The tent is clean, tidy, smells lovely, and has some biscuits and a drink awaiting you on arrival.
The shower and toilet is clean and the kitchen area has everything you could think of. A wood burning stove and a fire pit are also available to use and we enjoyed toasting marshmallows over the fire every night. There's plenty of room to relax and only two other tents, so the site is nice and relaxed. There's also a variety of farmyard animals on site and Ella informed us we could help ourselves to our chickens' fresh eggs.
The toilet is an eco toilet which may be a little "rural" for some folks likings. For accessibility reasons I've had to go 4 stars on just that as I found it tricky to get in and out of, but other than that our stay was perfect.

Bell Tent - Lotus Belle Tents Aug 2022 Had a lovely 4 night stay at Cheglinch. The site is very peaceful with beautiful surroundings and my kids loved collecting the eggs from the chickens every morning. There was lots of space for the kids to safely round around in front of the tents with lots of games and places to explore. The owner was very helpful.
I would recommend either as a family or a group of 3 families together.
Another fantastic stay!
Aug 2022 This was our second time staying at Cheglinch after a fantastic stay in 2021. As before the accommodation and amenities were excellent: clean tents with comfortable beds, good private cooking, toilet and bathroom facilities. Lovely play area for kids, plus lots of farm animals for the kids to see. Not to mention fresh eggs from the hens each morning. Good location; close to a few towns, restaurants and beaches. Fantastic host who is always responsive.
Lots to love about Cheglinch, would stay there again!
