Tinhay Retreats is a small countryside campsite set on a working farm in West Devon, just a 15 minute drive from the Dartmoor National Park. There are both small and large electric grass pitches for campers and choose from, as well as two cosy furnished bell tents. Take part in one of the onsite craft sessions or learn how to bake bread!

This picturesque rural campsite is a lovely choice for families or couples looking to escape everyday life, set close to the River Lyd and Tinhay Lake. There are five small grass pitches sleeping up to two people and five large grass pitches sleeping up to four, each with their own electric hook up. The small pitches allow tents only and the large pitches allow tents, caravans and tourers. For anyone looking to avoid hammering in tent pegs, opt for one of the two furnished bell tents. Sleeping up to four in a double bed and two optional single beds, these have cosy furnishings such as seating and rugs. Outside, you'll have your own covered al fresco seating area, complete with a picnic bench, camp stove and all cooking utensils and crockery provided. Explore the countryside and visit the Dartmoor National Park just 15 minutes away, don't forget to say hello to the famous free-roaming Dartmoor ponies! Dogs are welcome onsite, just please keep them on the lead at all times. Fire pits are allowed provided they are raised off the grass, and fire wood is available onsite.
Camping and touring is available 1/3 - 31/10. The bell tents are available 3/6 - 4/9.
