Enjoying nature at a slightly slower pace is also an option, with the site's great links to walks around Dartmoor National Park, and fishing spots.
About Roadford Lake
Roadford Lake's location is unlike any other. The onsite activity centre, and stunning lakeside views allow you to choose - a fast paced holiday of nature exploration, or a relaxing getaway. This campsite is ideal for families, with plenty of space to set up picnics, and for children to play. An onsite cafe can also be found close to the children's play area, to offer a break from cooking over the campfire. Take a day drip to visit Dartmoor National Park, or visit the nearby town Launceston. Choose between Bertie the bell tent, or a variety of pitches, including grass and hardstanding. Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on the lead. Sorry no dogs inside the bell tent and cars must be parked in the car park. Please note, there is a 2 night minimum stay for the bell tent.
Open from 1 March to 31 October
Site facilities include showers and well-kept toilets. An onsite activity centre is available for fishing and watersports. There is a communal BBQ area, and cafe.
