Woodovis Park is set in the Tamar Valley AONB, and on the border of Devon and Cornwall - a great base to explore both counties. It is close to Dartmoor National Park and the ancient market town of Tavistock. With excellent facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub and infrared therapy sauna cabin, you can relax and enjoy time-out whatever the weather.

Loved this campsite so much. It has everything you need and even a microwave for the campers! Clean, well maintained, friendly wardens and a warm, clean swimming pool. We will return.

Great location, right in the middle of countryside, on the edge of the Moor. Love that they have a dog field, a pool, and an infrared sauna which are solar powered! The site is not overcrowded, they have grown hedges around each pitch so they are quite private. It is very clean throughout, and the staff are friendly.

Absolutely outstanding site. Good range of facilities, maintained to an exceptional standard. The pool and dog walking area were great, as was the fresh bread in the mornings.They get the basics right too, the signs were really helpful and they staff could not do enough to help. Really impressive set up.

Really lovely campsite. Beautifully kept. The owners have thought of everything. Hand cream in the toilets, a microwave and freezer for campers, a doggy wash, kids play area, dog walk area with poo bags and a travelling bar. We couldn't fault it.

This is a great site, I would say it's well located in terms of driving to other places but there are limited walks locally from the park itself. We booked as we saw they were doing a hog roast - when we got there, this hadn't turned up and we had to rush out and buy food. Pool is great but the other facilities are pretty average. If you're staying in Tamar then there is one toilet some walk at the top of this field and that's it, not ideal with kids, or you have to go all the way up to reception where the bathrooms are pretty tired. There is a good family bathroom and changing facilities for babies but the water is scalding in the bath and it takes a bit of fiddling to get this to a non dangerous temperature. The pool is amazing but there is only a freezing cold water shower in it, again horrendous for babies and toddlers. The waste disposal point is excellent and even better than the bathrooms. Good playpark. Staff were super helpful and friendly.
