About Wilksworth Caravan Park

Set around a stunning listed building, this park is home to a historic five-bedroomed house, which dates back to the 16th century. Pitch up on wide, well kept lawns which are edged with protective trees, or try a range of hardstanding spots. All pitches are well spaced and include access to electric. For that extra special break, book an executive pitch. These are set on hardstanding and include fully serviced connections, along with superb views of the rolling Dorset countryside.

Facilities and amenities

Site facilities include modern shower and toilet facilities, which include hair dryers, shaving points and underfloor heating. There is also an outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), football field, tennis courts and a children's play area. A large dog exercise area is provided and a miniature village filled with playhouses for kids, plus a BMX track.

Guests also have full use of facilities at a sister park, including nightly entertainment, a bar and restaurant, plus a well equipped games room.

Things to do on site and in the Wimborne area

Passes are issued as soon as you arrive, which open up a world of exciting activities at Wilksworth's sister park - Oakdene Forest Park. Only 20 minutes away, it offers a chance to zoom on the flume, grab a bite in the Acorn Bar and Restaurant or pump some iron in a full gym. For the evenings, you'll love Oakdene's entertainment stars and there is also a VR room which will wow the kids.

Fancy yourself as the next BMX champion? Wilksworth has all you need to get that adrenaline going with its track. If you can drag the kids away from that, it'll only be to dive straight into the pool!

This part of the South Coast is full of family gems, too. Motor straight to Paultons Park for a host of rides, build sandcastles at Bournemouth Beach and turn the outdoor world into your playground in the New Forest.
