About the site

Nestled in the heart of Regency Cheltenham in a vibrant location surrounded by mature hedges, shrubs, and an abundance of wildlife. The site is a friendly park, beautifully landscaped and exclusively for adults, with an array of trees to give it that rural feel! For those with tourers or motorhomes, choose from hardstanding pitches inclusive of 10 amp electric or opt for a fully serviced pitch. All pitches are divided by hornbeam hedging (some are more mature than others). Escape the elements in comfort with one of three cosy camping pods (Buttercup, Daisy, Bluebell), all with electricity, lighting and heating. Pods sleep two adults with either a double bed or two singles, although do note that bedding isn't provided. Inside you will find a small kitchenette equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and kettle. French doors lead onto your own decking area. Cycling is fantastic here, and there is a direct path that goes all the way into Cheltenham (10 minutes). Sustrans cycle route 41 is a stone's throw away and will lead you along quiet roads into Gloucester. Head ten minutes to Cheltenham, offering a diverse mix of historic, cultural, and natural attractions. Or, enjoy a day out to the picturesque villages of Winchcombe (25 minutes), Bourton-on-the-Water (35 minutes), and Stow-on-the-Wold (40 minutes). Pets are most welcome, and there is a maximum of two dogs per pitch. The site has a fully enclosed dog field where your four legged friend can enjoy zoomies galore. There are also lots of walks directly from the park and lots of places a short drive away where your four-legged friends will enjoy a run in the fields. Rallies are also welcome.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJul 2025

My friend and I attended a local festival and the site was brilliantly located for buses to the centre of Cheltenham for our connecting coach. The pitches are a perfect size and quite private. They're all within easy reach of the facilities. Speaking of facilities they were fantastically clean. The staff were great and happy to have a banter with you, always a big tick in my books. The information you get on arrival is brilliant no need to ask questions just get on and read the stuff. We're already planning our next stay.

Site's response

It’s fantastic to hear that our location, facilities, and team all hit the mark for you! 😊 We put a lot of care into making the site welcoming and easy to enjoy, so your kind words really mean a lot. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you back for your next stay. All the Best, The Briarfields Team

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring PitchesJul 2025

Near to M5 and great stop off. Bus to Gloucester every 10 minutes and the docks and cathedral deserve a visit. The toilet blocks close at 11am till 1pm, which wasn't the best after we had our breakfast. We go for a shower 1 at a time so we can be with the dog and after getting up for work at 6am. I love the chilling morning without worrying about getting dressed and showered! The roads are a bit noisy but the site is so peaceful, apart from amazing planes landing over us! Will visit again.

Site's response

Dear Jennifer, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the location ideal for exploring Gloucester. The cathedral and docks are definitely local favourites, and it’s great that you had the chance to visit. We appreciate your comments regarding the toilet block closing times. Cleanliness is very important to us and to our guests, and to ensure we maintain high standards, we do carry out essential cleaning between 11am and 1pm. However, the facilities aren’t closed for the entire two-hour period and we always keep the accessible washroom available for use during this time. Over the years, we’ve trialled various timings and have found this slot works best, as it falls between our 11am departure and 1pm arrival times, when the site is generally at its quietest. Despite the occasional road noise and overhead planes, we're glad you still found the site peaceful and it’s lovely to hear you’re planning to visit again. We look forward to welcoming you back soon for another relaxing stay! Best Wishes, The Briarfields Team
