Dave and the team had worked so hard to get the site ready for the Easter weekend. Everything was in tip top condition. Unfortunately, the downpour of rain that had preceded the weekend meant that the two fields for grass pitches was very muddy, but Dave could not have been more helpful and accommodating to allow guests have the Easter break they planned! Site is small, but with everything you could possibly need and super friendly. Would 100% head back to the site. The café on site is the icing on the cake!

Very warm welcome on arrival and helpful when asked about using their Wi-Fi. Facilities on site were immaculate and pleasure to use. Have no hesitation of staying here again.

Couldn't have asked for a nicer lodge. We will always remember this place, as this is where where I proposed to my fiancé on New Year's Eve.

Lovely flat site with decent size ouches ideal for our campervan. Great for kids with plenty of space to play with pitches around the outside of the field. Added bonus of on site cafe. Plenty of warm, clean showers and toilets.

Booked at short notice for a weekend away with my son. Really impressed with everything and for the price too. Definitely up there, if not the best glamping pod I've booked. Will be booking again. P.S. The goats, donkey and pony are a great addition.

This was our first stay in the Forest of Dean. The site is in a great location for biking and Dave is a lovely host, we are planning to come back. Although we did not use the cafe on site, it seemed very popular with guests and locals.

We were greeted by the friendly owner who was on-site throughout our stay. The weather was terrible, but we managed to get our tent up and down without too much trouble. The toilet and shower facilities were excellent. They were warm, clean and spacious. There were private cubicles with changing spaces. There was a cafe open 8am-4pm serving good quality hot food and drink, as well as some other supplies. There were donkeys and goats on site. The children enjoyed seeing these. Several other families were camping and all the children enjoyed playing in the open space together. There are lodges and shepherd's huts in a separate area which look luxurious. Maybe we'll give one of those a go next time!

We had an excellent stay here, we came here with 2 dogs (one of them only 15 weeks old) but the site was so accommodating. On arrival, we met Dave, who runs the site. He's such a genuine guy and always made an effort with us and referred to us by our names every time he spoke to us! Which considering how many people come and go is such a warming touch! We stayed in a pod, there was heating and a good outdoor seating area. Plenty of walks to do too, I would highly recommend this site to anyone!

The site is very clean and laid out with nice, spacious pitches. In February, the camping area was very quiet. Not a huge site and for the size of the site, the facilities were plenty adequate. The on site café was lovely, it serves a lot of locals who come for the delicious food. The café does a Sunday lunch every week, which the locals flock to. We booked ourselves in and didn't regret it. There was so much food, which was absolutely gorgeous. We couldn't fit in a desert so we got one to take away, which was also delicious. They have a little area with goats and donkeys for the younger visitors.
Site's response
Thank you so much, John! We are incredibly pleased and it is very important to know that we are doing everything well for our visitors.

I stayed with my partner and 2 dogs and the pod was perfect. Fully equipped kitchen area including microwave, toaster, kettle, camping cooker, fridge, cutlery, utensils, crockery, glasses, pots and pans. Heating in the pod with a television with wide selection of channels, which was pretty useful because the weather was terrible, unfortunately. Fully heated shower and toilet block not too far from pod. Café onside with delicious food at a reasonable price. Will definitely stay here again and hopefully the weather will be better next time!

The site is lovely and clean and about a 15 minute walk to a local pub, chip shop and a shop. We booked this site for three nights over New Year and specifically picked the site as it had restaurant/café on site, this was not open at all for the duration of our stay. This was disappointing as we didn't take all of our cooking equipment or food with us. It would have been great to have been told that this would not be open and we would have chosen somewhere else to stay or brought all the things we needed with us. Overall the site was lovely but we left feeling disappointed. I believe the café is not actually owned by the owner of the site. Happy New Year.

We stayed for one night in mid November. It was dark when we arrived at around 5:45pm. The site was dark and it was very hard to see where we should park on the grass field. The facilities were lovely. Very clean and nice and warm. The dish washing facilities were really good with plenty of sinks and lots of hot water. The shower and toilet facilities were very good, again warm with plenty of hot water. There was a nice café on site which sold hot food and fabulous coffees.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Greenway. We enjoyed our stay and would return to the site in the future. There are 2 camping fields, we were allocated in Field F where the facilities are located. On the first night we were the only campers in F, the second night there was 1 other van which had been allocated to the pitch next to us. Given that there were only 2 vans it would've been nicer to have had more space given the pitch availability. The campsite was clean, shower facilities thought out well (hooks for clothes/towels etc and shower caddy for toiletries) and ample spaces for washing up. The man on reception was welcoming and recommended a local walk. I believe the cafe is independent from the campsite? The cafe staff utilised the outdoor benches frequently and as the campsite was quiet we felt like the staff were watching what we were up to. The goats, donkey and Shetland pony were a lovely surprise!

Nice site, clean and tidy accommodation and shower/toilet blocks. We stayed in a large pod (slept 4) and the 'beds' were sofa beds which for the kids is fine, but it's one of the most uncomfortable beds I've used. There was a ridge where the back of the sofa split in two which was either on our hip bone or belly/back. In my opinion there was ample room for a standard bed, along with the sofa bed for the little ones. Not much for the kids to do on-site either, but there were a few animals to look at and a site cat which was very friendly.

We have just returned home after spending 5 fabulous days at Greenway Farm Campsite. The site is perfect, close to lovely walks, close to shops and towns if you fancy a bit of shopping, great restaurant on site. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, especially Dave the owner of the site. They have lovely pods, sheds with beds and lodges, which we have booked already for a New Year getaway. Will definitely recommend and return in the future.

Good site. The pitch was a bit wet & caravan was bogging down too much but we were moved to a better one so all good in the end. Central for Ross on Wye & Monmouth which we visited. Lovely café on site-excellent food which, of course, we sampled quite a bit!
