Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2023

A lovely family stay! Great that you can pick your pitch. Such a family-friendly site. The food and drink vans and evening music/silent disco were great. We also loved the added bonus of seeing the VW campervans staying on-site. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.

The best camping experience I've ever had!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2022

My grandson and myself actually stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If there was any criticism, it is we observed several dogs using the grassland as a toilet (what dogs do) but unfortunately their owners didn't appear to be around to clear up. This comment is from someone who has had dogs and my grandson has two so we do know what should be done. This I feel is dangerous especially with so many young children around.

Great campsite in a beautiful location

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2022

What a find! Never been before but this was a great site. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the site very clean. Lots of toilets and showers so never had to queue. The river within 15 minutes walk was great fun for the kids and us bigger adult kids! We spent hours splashing around and jumping in from the banks/bridge. The site had a pop up bar that we used and also a variety of food options throughout the week. Great pub nearby (Horse and Groom) one of the best pub meals we have had and fantastic service. We will definitely be going back as we all loved it.

Fantastic stay

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2022

Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. It was clean with lots of space. Never sure whether to enjoy the sunset in the west or the full moon rising in the east but both spectacular. No light pollution so amazing starry nights. Only downside was dog owners who think everyone should love dogs and let them wander around the campsite. Where possible, the staff asked them to keep them on leads. Highly recommend it.
