Lovely campsite and very well maintained. Spacious pitches (9X9), with ample space between neighbouring pitches. Clean showers and toilets. Spacious areas for kids to play in and a specific area for dogs to be off lead. Fire pits and logs can be provided for a fee. Lots of water taps around. Owners are fabulous, always walking about checking in on people. Lovely walks nearby too and shops and cafes a few miles down the road. Thank you for a welcoming stay.

Nice campsite. Not far from Winchester, about 10 minutes drive. The pitch was flat and tidy. Well maintained grass not too long or short. Clear pitching instructions could be seen as picky, but make for a tidy, fair campsite where everyone knows what's what. The toilets are basic but cleaned regularly. We went on BH - the site was busy but we never had to wait for a shower and the water was lovely and hot. The secure dog field is brilliant, so nice for the dog to be able to run around. The owners were very diligent checking all was okay and just nice to see them about.. Tip: Take everything you need as no onsite shop or local one in walking distance. Good standard basic campsite - would recommend.

We hired a camper van locally to us and booked a few sites on route to Devon. This is a lovely quiet campsite with clean facilities. Nice level ground and really quiet at night. We only stayed one night but wish we stayed longer, as did our kids as they found others to play football with. We will definitely come back, with our fire pit or hire one of theirs.

We don't normally camp in the high season, being retired, but we had a family event in Portsmouth to attend and all the sites around Portsmouth are ridiculously expensive at this time of year. Folly Farm is very good value, and has excellent road access to Portsmouth and (of course) Winchester. A spacious site, well maintained and serviced, good for birding. The team were meticulous managers and always available, dealing with issues promptly. A good low-noise policy and very quiet indeed during the week.

I was just expecting a place to rest after a long journey, but the place is beautiful, quiet and excellent to spend a couple of days. Excellent amenities and the team are great.

Lovely location, large site with excellent, super clean facilities, including a super playpark for the kids which was a social melting pot! Firepit hire is reasonable but the same price again for wood, so bring your own! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Our second visit to this site as we wanted to explore the area more. It was very clean and tidy, both in the shower block and around the site. Great that they accept dogs and even provided an exercise field for them where they can be off the lead in a safe environment. There is some slight noise from the nearby main road, but was still very quiet at night and didn't cause us any problems. Would definitely recommend and use again if we came back to the area.

Great park, just in need of additional toilet blocks and refurbishment of the ones there. It would also be good if they had a sign on the shop door with opening times.

Lovely, quiet location in a gorgeous area surrounded by fields, pure peace.I would say the toilet area needs updating and there's no shop onsite- it's about a 10 minutes drive away. This location has some of the most gorgeous pubs I've seen. Such a nice area. Kid friendly stay, park on-site. Overall had a lovely weekend stopping here.

Stayed for 2 nights with a 7.5m motorhome, grass pitch with electrical hookup. Great location, didn't meet or see any staff/ owners as all checking in is done by text. Showers and toilet blocks were okay, newer one at the front (wooden clad building next to the log cabin) are the best to use. Would gladly recommend Folly Farm.

Did the job. Very basic campsite with bare minimum facilities. The showers, although were cleaned daily, still had mould in the sealant and damp/mould on the ceilings. It wouldn't take much to re-seal and re-paint the shower areas for it to look cleaner.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at this campsite. We felt that the owners had crammed as many people in as possible and did not supply the facilities to accommodate the amount of people on site. An additional toilet block was opened for the weekend (which only had 1 additional shower and was quite grubby) but after that, there were queues every time one of us went to use them. The washing up facilities were outside with no cover and often had no hot water. Waste bins around the site I felt were not emptied often enough, causing them to overflow and there were wasp nests all around the site which surrounded the bins and the water taps. On the positive side, the children's park was not bad and there is a field with some football goals which was nice. On the whole we would not recommend this campsite.

Lovely site and location. Peaceful even though the site was busy. Very few toilets and showers. We noticed that there is a separate additional block which was unfortunately locked and not in use, but would've been useful due to the amount of people queuing. Other than this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Great views, no fuss. Not a lot of toilets and bathrooms for a whole camp site, though.

We stayed here for my daughter's 2nd Birthday. It was our first time camping so had no idea what to expect or do. We simply needed somewhere affordable and close to Peppa Pig World. We loved it so much, I now intend to be a full time camper lol! Pitches were nicely spaced, toilet and bathroom facilities were clean. They could do with a bit of a re vamp (eg mould on shower sealants), but they were clean and that's the main thing. The camp site was lovely and was clean but there isn't a local shop nearby. In saying that, it's taught me what I will need to take on my next camping trip so there is a silver lining :) I was slightly dubious as the reviews were a bit mixed, but I was so pleased I trusted my gut. Thankyou, we will definitely return - maybe for next year's Birthday!

Great campsite for a short break as location remote, for long walks we had to drive out as walking on road was not so safe. Location more suited for families with young kids, not teenagers as limited to what can be done. Good facilities and easy access to toilets/showers … no issues with queuing.

Too many big groups, so would recommend for family meets or large get togethers. Too many kids for us.

Toilets and shower rooms are basic, needs upgrading and mould removing.
