Wonderful stay with my two young children

I honestly couldn't fault our stay at Fallow Fields. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the facilities were spotless. I really valued having no cars on the site, and the rule about no music played out loud. Although the quiet time was from 10.30, the family atmosphere meant that everyone settled down before then, and it was wonderfully peaceful. My children loved the park and the soft play- absolutely genius, as parents can actually have five minutes for a cup of tea! We only live half an hour away, but I really hope to return with the rest of my family for a short break.

Lovely clean campsite with beautiful views and lovely staff

Excellent family focused campsite

Excellent family-focused campsite, well organised with clean facilities (showers, toilets etc) serving food in morning and evening, with a well-stocked shop. Rules in place to ensure that everyone has a great time and does not disturb others with loud music or during sleep time. Great location, near to Dymchurch with loads to do within a few miles.

Very peaceful and friendly

It was good to stay at an exclusively tent site. No campervans or caravans and their owners. No cars allowed on site during the stay was also a bonus. Good location too, very convenient. Good facilities that were well maintained.

Great place to stay for a camping experience

Very clean and well kept site Showers perfect and cleaning areas spotless. Would recommend staying if you are looking for a quite site. Close to beaches and some great areas to visit. Good for young children with a play area and soft play to keep the children entertained.

Great location for peace and quiet

Great location for peace and quiet and for exploring the Romney Marsh area. Nice flat, spacious pitches and friendly, helpful service. We rented a fire pit and bought some logs and enjoyed a sunset two evenings in a row. Bar area as pleasant for a drink and the pizza's were tasty. Although, I didn't expect to pay for cheese on a pizza? We would come again as the Marsh has so much to offer.

Great stay!

Great say. Nice and peaceful place to camp and the facilities were clean. This place is great value for money. Lucy and her team were amazing, thank you for helping us throughout our stay! X

Perfect for young families

My wife, 2 year old daughter and I stayed for 3 nights in early May. The toilets, showers and washing facilities were really clean and worked perfectly. The kids soft play was a big hit. The only two negatives for us, had the site been full, where we were allocated, the pitches were very close together and we wouldn't have had a lot of space. On this occasion it was quiet and there was lots of space. Also, we had a couple of pizzas, a side and a glass of wine each one night, we were surprised this came to over £45. It was all very nice, but those are restaurant prices for sure. There were many positives though, as previously mentioned, everything was clean and worked well, the kids activities were great, the location was lovely. We love being able to have an open fire and wouldn't consider a campsite where this isn't allowed. We'll definitely come and stay again sometime soon.

Camping

We emailed and got confirmation that myself and one other family would be pitched next to each other, but we had the road in-between, so were not really next to each other. We also had to collect and return the fire pit ourselves.

Good for families and children

We chose this campsite for its location (close to Folkstone). Unfortunately, the campsite seems to be mainly for families with children. We weren't aware of this. There was - a lot - of noise until 22:30. We were put next to the walking path between sites, so it was even busier I guess. Maybe we could ask for a more remote area of the field when booking or checking in. This would have been more suitable for us as a couple passing through the area.

Fantastic stay!

Fantastic campsite, very clean and quiet, although we stayed during the week in term time and it looks as though it could be busy during summer holidays. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. We cycled to different beaches each day we were there, and each were approximately 15-30 minutes away. Cycle routes were quiet and scenic. We would definitely come back!

Pleasant and laid back stay

Loved the site although it was a bit exposed. Showers were brilliant and loo blocks etc very clean. Nice to see soft play area for kids. Very pleased you sold hot drinks. Staff friendly and helpful on the whole. Nice relaxed feel to site.

A lovely site

Staff were very friendly and helpful, making check-in very easy. Facilities seemed new and well planned out. Unfortunately there was a problem with a water pump that meant there was no water for the main shower/toilet block for a few hours. I understand that the site now has a spare pump ready at all times. Although I was on my own, the facilities for younger children looked very impressive.

We sometimes learn the hard way hey?! Sorry our new pump failed overnight. We are just grateful we had such understanding campers such as yourself on site. We now have a back up solution in place which should prevent this happening again. So far so good! Hope to see you back at Fallow Fields soon.
