What a great place, would highly recommend, our toddler absolutely loved the play parks and the woods. Nice little touches like decent dishwashing sinks with hot water.

I planned to stay for two nights but had to abandon the 2nd night due to road noise in the early morning. I was really lucky to get a space on the same day booking and when I turned up, the whole site is empty. So I was having the whole site for myself! However, things started when I've was given Pitch 1, which is next to the road where all the cars were passing by. In my booking request, I specifically asked for a quiet pitch so that I can enjoy my camping and the peacefulness. I've travelled a long way to the site from Central London and reached the site feeling pretty exhausted. After pitching the tent and sun went down, I fell asleep quickly. But from around 10pm, there were cars passing by my pitch and motor bikes too. I got up several times to check and my dog was really nervous. The vehicle noise carried on for about 1 hour and then everything went quiet. In the early morning, around 6am, the vehicle noise rose and I couldn't sleep anymore. The vehicles just kept on coming, one after another. The noise drove me mad and I was exhausted both mentally and physically. If I've been given a pitch away from the road, I think I'll be staying for another night but I was given the option. This is a really bad experience for me!

I was there over a very busy bank holiday weekend. Loads of activities, was pitched close to the toilets and wash facilities, and the campsite is very close to the lake. Only 2 problems and not their fault. The geese in the lake are very noisy at night and there is a booming sound every 45 mins from a nearby farmer keeping the birds off his land. Starts at 6am. I will visit again.

Buel Water is a fantastic place to visit. The staff are welcoming and attentive and facilities kept clean daily. There's plenty to do. For kids there's an inflatable Aqua Park, Lazer tag and other activities. You can go swimming and surfing and also there's a pleasant 13 mile walk around Buel Water. The site is dog friendly.

My family and my friends family camped in Bewls Water but I booked both pitches at the same time, hoping we would be able to camp side by side. We kindly asked the staff if we could swap with the empty space beside us as the space was empty, to which they said they are fully booked that weekend. I would have understood if they were traveling as a group or they were already pitched that day but the people next to us did not even arrive until the day after🤷🏼♀️. Staff were not accommodating to our simple request and we only meant to do so because we have young children and we wanted to make sure all of them are in one space. Also, the facilities are lacking. There are only 3 shower cubicles for each gender and the cubicles are also tiny. I have always camped yearly and I was not impressed at all. Although the park itself was picturesque and the children's play area proved a good respite for us adults, I still would not camp here again rather a day use would be better.

The campsite is fantastic and clean would recommend it to other, the walks next to the lake is great, only thing is that the activities are a bit pricey at £20 per hour for the aqua park. Would have liked a discount on activities as we were camping on site, not just there for the day. Not much to do with younger kids as they can't fish from the side or just try to embrace it, as it is not allowed as he is too small to go on the boat.

I would recommend this campsite because of very good location! Just not happy with facilities, showers and long queues in the morning to toilets. Also, there were no sockets in the shower room!

No one was around when we turned up, had to phone a mobile number to give us a pitch number. Pitches were fluffy grass, well kept and fairly spacious. Showers were all down at the waters edge and non-lockable cubicles so felt unsafe. Clean though and hot! Only 2 washing up facilities and 4 toilets on the camping fields. The dog friendly cafe doesn't serve hot food in the week which misses a trick! Aqua park was brilliant and would have done it again with a camping discount and not £20 each! The 13 mile ride around the lake was great and harder/hillier than expected - but very well sign posted. Awesome playground by the lake.

Really enjoyed our stay. Lots to do and staff were good. The lake is stunning. We took our dogs and there was lots of space for them. Only complaint is that the showers were a trek away.

Stayed here in the summer. Great campsite. Very good staff and good value for money. Will definitely be back.
