First ever camping experience and we loved it

For our first ever camping experience, we decided to pitch up at Eastview as we know we can get food, drinks and entertainment down the road in Chapel St. Leonard's. The site was excellent, and our pitch was moved right next to the shower block. The toilets were really clean, staff were friendly and even though the pitch was soggy after heavy rain and continued to rain during our stay, we loved our first experience and will definitely recommend Eastview to our family who also camp. 10/10 😁

Excellent toilet and shower facilities cleaned daily. The grass is tended to daily. The children's play area is very good. You feel safe and secure with entry to site and buildings via a fob. Very friendly and helpful staff. I've been coming a few years now and love it.

Great stay, site was very quiet after 10 pm and no noise before 7.30 am. Pitches were nice and big and the toilets and showers were good and cleaned at least twice a day. Small shop had the basics, which was very good. All-round great site for camping.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The shower blocks are very clean and there's actually room to move in each shower cubicle! The village is within staggering distance and there's some great pubs in the local area. This was the first time we had been to the area and loved the spacious pitches and the quietness (we did leave before the school holiday mayhem started)

Really pleasant stay, the site was well maintained and managed to a good standard. The receptionist was very professional and friendly. The pitch had plenty of room with electric and water hook up, toilet and showers are in good clean condition and the water was very hot. The site is in a good location and we would recommend a visit.

Dog walk

Overall the site is very good. Would have preferred a proper dog walk as was walking about aimlessly. Also I didn't notice one bin for dog waste, which was a little disappointing. Would definitely return.

Had a lovely week on this site, great sized pitch, good location with a bus stop just outside. Buses to Fantasy Island and Skegness for 4 adults was £13 for a day ticket, so good value. I felt that the site shopping was a little disappointing. Toilets were clean most of the time, but not on Wednesday of our stay. Early in the morning, there was no toilet roll. The site is quiet from 10:30pm, apart from our last night when children were playing football and hitting into tents, shining torches into tents and running around them until 1.30am. There was no on site security, but you can phone for someone. Generally had a great week and would return.

Toilets were not clean

Toilets bins were always full with ladies sanitary pads. So sorry, but the toilets were not very clean and there was a lot of noise after 10:30, so didn't get much sleep.

We apologise with regard to the sanitary bins, once we were made aware of the problem the bins were swapped over with empty bins and the company called to remove the waste. The report back from him after emptying them was they were full mainly of nappies. The cleaner goes in several time a day and works very hard. If there is a issue that cannot wait until the next clean, if it is reported we will get it sorted as quickly as possible. On arrival you are given a welcome sheet, on both sides of this sheet is the phone number for security. This is for people to phone for any issues out of office hours. I'm sorry that you did not approach the office with your concerns during your stay and had to wait to express the problems in a review This is a little bit unfair. If we are not aware that there is a problem, how can we resolve it? Stephanie - Bookings Team

We as a group of dads stayed here for a few days with our kids during the holidays. Couldn't fault the service received by the staff at check in and during the stay. Very clear instructions as to where to pitch and park our cars (some sites I've found can be too vague and make it confusing.) Great location to get to the arcades and the beach. Toilet block was clean even though it's a bit dated. Lovely campsite would stay again.

A very nice welcoming campsite. Got shown to our pitch, which and sometimes can be a nightmare trying to find. Quite well-spaced out site. Toilet/ shower block clean. Will be going back!

Nice park and close to beaches and main Skegness. Was disappointed with the kids park. You can't play football or ball games at all and we also got told to stop playing badminton. No scootering either. We also felt that tents were crammed together.

We are sorry to hear that you felt crammed in, during the jubilee bank holiday week we had a lot of supersized tents with gazebos and extra cars making it seem cramped. All our pitches are of a good size and allow for caravans with awnings, a car plus the regulation space between pitches for fire safety. We do not allow ball games because of the annoyance to other campers plus the possible damage to tents and caravans. We had a awful lot of complaints that week about people ignoring this site rule and had to tell people to stop playing football. With regard to the badminton, we asked you to stop because the net was in front of someone else's pitch and they complained to us about the noise and it being on their allocated space. As much as we do not want to spoil people's fun, I hope you understand that we do have to take action when people complain. Stephanie Bookings Team

The title says it all really - great little campsite on the edge of Chapel St Leonards, plenty of amenities nearby, local pubs & amusements within 10 mins walk, and an onsite park for the kids. The onsite facilities were always close by, whether that be chemical/waste disposal, empty bins or sink, and I believe there is also a laundrette onsite. The showers and toilets were dirty, possibly only cleaned once a day by the looks of it, luckily we had our own shower/toilet... Overall, we would certainly book here again.
