About Wigwam Holidays Crowtree
Set along the banks of the pretty River Welland and in rural surroundings, this working farm glamping site is a great choice for weekends away, longer breaks and relaxing retreats away from the bustle of city life. There are nine fully furnished and heated Wigwam pods onsite, eight of which are the deluxe pods for up to a family of four, and one spacious lodge taking up to four adults and two children. Each deluxe pod sleeps up to four guests in a comfy double bed and a sofa bed. One set of bedding is provided with your booking, please bring with you any extra bedding and towels. The pods include a well-equipped kitchenette, including a sink, cupboards, hob, kettle, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils and crockery. There's also a small dining area inside the cabin. The deluxe pod is also equipped with a toilet, washbasin, shower and a heated towel rail. Outside there is a patio area with a picnic table and lovely views. You may also opt for the Lodge, which is spacious and suitable for up to six guests. This pod includes a lounge area (transforming into a large sleeping area at night), a well-equipped kitchenette (oven, hob, toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave, utensils and crockery), a dining area, a fixed double bed and a spacious wet room with toilet, shower and wash basin. Outside is a large patio area and the lodge has its own private hot tub. Play croquet or venture into the surrounding countryside with plenty of walks nearby. Campfires and BBQs are only permitted with the provided units. Please ensure they stay in position and are raised off the ground. Dogs are permitted, and there is one dedicated pet free deluxe pod available.
Wigwam Holidays Crowtree is open all year round.
Each unit has an ensuite with a toilet, shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and well-equipped kitchen spaces. There is also free WiFi available. Fire pits and BBQs are available for hire. Zebedee's Pavilion is a indoor communal area where there is a pool table and croquet court too. Four cabins come with hot tub facilities.
The sites sauna must be booked by prior arrangement and is for adults only.
Spalding is a 15-minute drive and has an Aldi, Morrisons and Tesco. The closest pub is The Chequers of Weston, a five minute drive from site.

Great location and the owners were both very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the cleanliness/facilities let it down slightly. The fridge had a really bad odour, to it which we could smell from the outside. It also made everything we put it the fridge smell, which was extremely off-putting.

We loved this site, quiet, beautiful and in a great location (you do need a car to get around). It was lovely being in the fresh air. We loved it so much we have booked for new year.

Things to do on site and in the Spalding area
For a day trip, pop off for an hour's drive to The Wash (30 minutes), where you'll be rewarded with a chance to get down to some serious wildlife spotting and walk along the marshland flats.
Why spend all your time on land though? The water taxi at Springfield Festival Gardens (10 minutes) is a fun and quirky way to ride the water, starting or finishing at the shopping paradise of the outlet centre - so be ready for some retail therapy.
After that, you can satisfy your need for speed at Scalextric Racing Spalding (15 minutes) which is heaps of fun, whatever the weather.
