Good stay but room for improvement

Great location and the owners were both very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the cleanliness/facilities let it down slightly. The fridge had a really bad odour, to it which we could smell from the outside. It also made everything we put it the fridge smell, which was extremely off-putting.

We loved this site, quiet, beautiful and in a great location (you do need a car to get around). It was lovely being in the fresh air. We loved it so much we have booked for new year.

We had a lovely stay and Patrick (owner/manager) couldn't have been more accommodating. My wife, children and I stayed alongside our family. I called Patrick a couple of weeks before the trip and informed that we would like a pod next to my family's. We had a VW camper and would like to park and set up right next to our pods. Nothing was too much trouble and when we arrived, the pods were right next to each other, with a great space to pitch with the campervan next to them. We had campfires every evening and would recommend the hot tub, which kept the children occupied, and the adults once they were asleep. Our boxer dog was allowed to roam freely, as long as he was under control. There's a great adventure park aimed for children aged between (min)2-8(max) in my opinion, and a shopping centre within 10 minutes away. It really is a great place to unwind, relax and do nothing. Only criticisms are that there's no park for the kids, or a bar/shop for the adults, but they don't advertise that anyway.

This place is an absolute gem! We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 boys 3 year old & 4 month old and also our dog. The site is beautiful, it's so clean and tidy! We stayed in moles mansion, upon arrival Patrick was there to greet us and make sure we were happy with everything. The pod itself was spotless inside and everything is well looked after and maintained. The wife and I loved the hot tub once the boys were in bed asleep a great way to relax, unwind and enjoy the evening, we even got to see some shooting stars on the second night whilst we were relaxing in the hot tub! We also hired a cot for the little one which was pristine! Also we hired the fire pit/BBQ which was a great addition to our stay.
