I was so impressed by Old Brick Kilns, the lady that welcomed us was really helpful and the facilities were well located for our pitch - well built, and spotless. I wish we'd stayed for longer and tried out the bar and restaurant too! There were some lovely dog walks nearby too.
Quiet site with excellent wash facilities

The site overall is nice. The best pitches are reserved for caravan club members only and the adults only area. We were pitched on pitch no. 46. The pitch was lacking in grass space for the children to play on. We were also under some very mature and well established trees which meant we were completely in the shade all the time. The tree's also covered our car and caravan in sap and something that was staining things yellow. The pub needs to be open more than it is and needs to have a larger capacity for serving food! Toilets and shower facilities are fantastic. There was one gentleman who works there who is absolutely fantastic and really helpful.

Stayed in our camper van for one night only. Beautiful site. Grounds kept clean and tidy and the fenced little fishing lake added to the beauty of the site. Toilet and shower block we used was immaculate. There is a games/TV room for use on site. Perfect if weather isn't great. Information shed well stocked with added bonus of books and dvd's to borrow or exchange. Would definitely book again for a longer period as plenty of places to visit a short drive away. The town of Holt was lovely.

Excellent site, with friendly staff. Only stayed one night in a tent with my son, the fishing pond attracted us. He caught lots of fish and had a brilliant time. We will be back.

We had a great couple of nights here. As it's December, it was very quiet. The site is spotless and the washrooms are 5 star. Fantastic location to explore North Norfolk and an easy drive to Holt. We cant wait to go back!

We only stayed one night as we were looking at a car in area. We had great service as I had a text to say what time the restaurant / bar was open. This was very good. A lovely site it was so quiet and friendly and the food was very good. The shower and toilets were absolutely spotless, which goes along way for me. I would definitely recommend it thank you.

We recently visited the Old Brick Kilns campsite for a single night stay, booked on the same day. We arrived just before 6pm and members of staff were still around in the shop office. We were greeted well and directed to our pitch site, which we found easily. We had a lot of choice where to pitch as the tent areas wasn't busy. We have a car roof tent so we chose one of the firm gravel based pitches. We visited the bar/restaurant area in the evening. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a pizza, followed by a waffle, which were both very nice and reasonably priced for the quantity and quality. We used the shower facilities in the evening and the following morning and it was a real surprise to us how well facilitated they were and how well they were kept. Expectations aren't always very high of these types of facilities at campsites, but these were very nice. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We didn't have time to explore the local area, but we were told by some other guests that the area is lovely and has some nice walks. We'd certainly stay again.

Nice site for caravans but tents needs some work. The field feels disorganised upon arrival and an extra income rather than feeling welcome. Tents allowed to pitch anywhere which led to people camping in wrong spots and we fell twice at night coming back from toilets over ropes due to this problem. Needs organising so people know where to place tent and car to allow room for all.

Perfect - what a place! So peaceful and ideal for a chilled getaway. Close enough to some beautiful and picturesque places to visit. Holt is a must - beautiful place. Cromer is a really lovely traditional seaside town too. The bar 'Barneys' was brilliant - food was epic. We loved every bit of this site. Thanks for making our first trip to Norfolk a memorable one x

First time using our tent for a few years and what a lovely site. Toilet/shower facilities very clean. Bar & food lovely. Only one downside, the instructions when checking in regarding pitching could be made a bit clearer on where to pitch, as one tent was really close to the walkway, so their guy ropes stuck out and I tripped over them (they did move them in after that). If they had been told to pitch in the centre of the tent marker, other campers would have been able to park their car next to their tent.

We had a really enjoyable holiday. Campsite was very well located and within reasonable drive of a number of places to visit on days out, including the beach. The site was very clean, tidy and well laid out. Shower block facilities were very clean with good showers (proper shower and temperature controlled). It would have been preferred for us if the tent pitches were marked out as on arrival there was only one space left that wasn't that big due to other tents and parked cars nearby. If everyone had their own designated space it helps everyone. This is not a criticism of the site but our particular pitch was on a lot of hard stony ground, so we failed to get a few tent pegs in. Advice would be to bring along some hard ground tent pegs. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Spotlessly clean, new facilities

I don't particularly enjoy camping, but I do enjoy the experience and quality time with my family. It needs to be enjoyable rather than a chore! The site is very picturesque with plenty to keep my teenagers busy. The showers were the best I've had when camping and didn't take any nagging for the boys to shower too. A lovely quiet and peaceful pitch. The weather was glorious, if not a little too hot. The only improvement for me would have been the ability to re- freeze my ice packs to help keep food cool, I've since bought a plug in cooler for future use, so negates this but just making others aware. Great location for visiting Morston Quay and Wells. Will definitely be coming back.
