A lovely relaxing stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 We arrived (midweek) to an almost empty site - a huge flat field with very generously-sized pitches. Pleasant surroundings with visits from friendly ducks, pigeons and a pair of red kites. Clean, though fairly basic, loos and showers but plenty of hot water at no extra charge. There’s a cafe and shop on site, as well as the deer farm, but we didn’t make use of them so can’t comment.
A pleasant stroll to the village, where the dog-friendly Rose and Crown does top -notch grub!

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 We booked this on the very last minute after moving from another campsite in Spalding that was particularly awful.
Snettisham Meadows was an absolute gem. The staff were lovely and friendly. There was ample room between pitches. Although there were plenty of families there, it had a lovely vibe about the place, no rowdiness, and it was quiet at night. The toilets were clean and tidy. The farm next door was also a fab place to visit and my children thoroughly enjoyed it. It was just a short drive to the seaside too.
We'll definitely be back again.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 The toilets, showers and washing up area were all very clean and there was loads of hot water. They were grass pitches that were flat and level with no puddles or mud. It seemed like there was a layer of hardcore a few inches below the surface, so I couldn't get our swing tent pegs in. A neighbour had extra strong tent pegs for hard ground and had no trouble. Reception was closed when we arrived but there was a list of new arrivals on the door with their pitch number, so there was no problem.
There was a tea room round the corner that did any combination of bacon, egg and sausage rolls or sandwiches plus some other food for lunches. It opened at 10:00 and closed quite early. There was a good cafe about 15 mins walk into the village plus a Co-op store. There was also another cafe about 25 mins to the south of the village called The Granary which did, among other things, one of the best cheese and mushroom omelettes I've ever had.
There was a small shop in the tea room that sold souvenirs. The only food it sold were eggs.
I only put 4 stars for standard of service because I didn't see the reception open the whole time we were there and, in fact, didn't meet anyone from the campground - not that it mattered because we didn't need them.
We had a wonderful time and recommend the place.
Lovely staff, super friendly. Lots of stuff nearby to do.
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Couldn’t fault staying here. Only our second outing in our campervan and already looking at returning here.
Friendly staff in the tea room that served a great cappuccino. Loads of animals around the farm area and a really nice scenic walk into the nearby village.
Looking forward to retuning in the near future.
Wonderful site. Would go again.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 Great site clean , spacious, friendly staff , nice little cafe and gift shop. Would definitely recommend, its nice and peaceful and perfect for the family with the onsite parks
Toilets and showers are a bonus as well as the washing up station and clean drinking water
Also sockets and charging and onsite fridge freezer for public use and free WiFi

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 We had a lovely relaxing time camping in this farm location. Surrounded by sounds of the countryside, on a clean, well maintained site, it was just what we needed after a busy few months. Clean hot showers with the added bonus of a squeegee mop to keep things fresh. Ample washing up facilities and plenty of hot water. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you so much for providing a lovely campsite.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 Site well laid out with large pitches and good amenities. Times of when staff are on site well displayed and nice to be able to hire a firepit - deposit only, no cost as we took our own wood to burn. Early in the season so chilly and water was properly hit for washing up and showers. Farm attraction is separate business and cost but worth the visit. We shall be going back again for sure.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Feb 2026 There was a mistake with the booking and the host was actually away, but they were kind enough to still let us stay and we had a very peaceful nights sleep without the stress of staying in a lay-by somewhere. Despite our stay falling when there was no hot water, we were still happy to use the facilities to freshen up a bit. Thank you for letting us stay, we will be back in the future :)

We also visited the farm and I don't think I've ever seen such well looked after animals. Would definitely visit again.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Very good campsite, perfect for what we needed.
The only issue we found was that the field had loads of holes in it. I've camped since I was a child, so I expect the odd hole but there were holes literally everywhere, which made walking to the toilets in the dark very tricky and I did end up twisting my ankle.
That aside, the campsite was beautiful, the pitches were a good size and it was overall a positive experience.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Very simple quiet spacious site as far as my one day stay was concerned. I just had to tick a sheet to say I'd arrived and that was it. Reception was open when I went for an evening walk and the person showed me on the free trail map where to go which was good.
I think the directions to the site could have been clearer as there is another business that you get to first that is entirely separate.
Toilet, shower, dishwashing block was clean and pleasant. The hedges have yet to grow so no shade anywhere and people tend to walk through between the young plants wherever it suits them which was a shame. Privacy wise as well as for the future of the hedge.
Ground was very hard probably due to prolonged hot weather but it was flat.
Amazing campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 As first time campers with two children, we are now hooked when it comes to camping, I'm so glad we picked this campsite as our first location.
Large grass areas for the kids to play, good amount of space between each camp set up. Good facilities. The play park helped my two make friends immediately. Very quiet and peaceful. The farm shop sells amazing breakfast options.
The only regret I have is not visiting the farm with my children as we were so busy on our days out, but I guess that means we'll have to return. Overall, we have come home very happy campers.

Brilliant
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Booked this site the week before we visited, perfect location for the places we like to visit and the village was lovely. Site was clean and spacious, everyone was respectful of after 10pm quiet time.
The toilet and showers were cleaned daily, only thing I would say is one shower curtain was a bit black at the bottom so maybe could be replaced and also a little shelf in the toilets could be useful as when brushing teeth etc you have to put your wash bags on the floor.
Other than that the site is perfect and we will return, definitely a great place for little children for visiting the farm.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 First time camping in the UK as an adult! Lovely campsite, very spacious with great facilities for washing up and showering etc, clean, with constant hot water.
We never visited the farm, but we had breakfast in the tea room and it was yummy and reasonably priced.
The location is fantastic for exploring the Norfolk coast and it's beautiful villages.
Will most probably be back again!

Facilities were clean and the campsite never felt 'busy'. Owners were very helpful when we wanted to adjust our pitch.
Worked really well for our group of family friends to stay.
