There's the Small Wee Cabin for small families and groups, perfect for four people in a double bed and bunk beds. You'll have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as your patio. The Big Wee Cabin sleeps up to eight in a double bed, 2+1 triple bunk bed, twin sofa bed and a single sofa bed. This larger cabin is perfect for large families and groups. Finally, there is The Barn for up to five people in a double bed, a pair of bunks and a fold-out Z bed in the sleeping area, and ample soft seating if your group chooses to socialise indoors. With hidden lighting and an arched ceiling, this spacious cabin also has its own outside area and is lovely for a hassle-free stay. Venture to The Dark Hedges Trail for some cycling, or biking, or visit the seaside, with beaches just 15 minutes away, including Ballycastle. Responsible dog owners are welcome. A maximum of three dogs are allowed on site on any one night. Owners are just asked to please keep them on the lead at all times (no longer than 2m) while on site and to make sure that they don't pose a nuisance to others. Campfires are permitted but only in the site's fire circle.

Camping, touring, cabins and the barn are available all year round. Bell tents are available from Easter until mid September.

A note from the site themselves...

Flesk Water Camping is a campsite that's just a little bit different.

Transformed from an empty field to a tree-filled home for birds and other wildlife. The site offers holidaymakers a peaceful haven in harmony with its surroundings.

The idea sprang from a deep-rooted environmental awareness and an approach which seeks to not only do no harm, but actively restore some ecological balance. Over the past 15 years, native trees have been planted around and throughout the site.

The trees provide a healthy home and food source for a range of threatened local species including a variety of birds, butterflies and bees. In combination with sympathetic planting, areas of the site are deliberately left to grow wild to facilitate the development of a flourishing habitat.

Summer- and autumn-fruiting trees including cherry, plum, greengage and apple have also been planted in recent years. As these mature, they will provide a few free tasty treats for guests to enjoy!

Most of the buildings on site have been constructed from repurposed or recycled materials. We use renewable energy in the form of solar panels and biogas to provide a significant majority of the energy used on site for lighting and hot water.

Accessibility is another important aspect of Flesk Water Camping. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy camping and glamping holidays. There is ramped access to the kitchen, with a cooking station set at a height of 750mm to facilitate wheelchair users and lever taps on the sink.

Two fully wheelchair-accessible bathrooms have been installed, including showering facilities, and three of our log cabins are also wheelchair friendly.

We are always open to feedback about how we can improve and enhance the holiday experience for all our customers with additional support needs.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2023

We stayed at Flesk Water Camping for 2 nights in early August 2023. The weather wasn’t great, but it didn’t dampen our spirits. This campsite is probably the best campsite we’ve ever stayed at, in terms of friendliness of the host, services provided and general cleanliness. Andy gave us a warm welcome and showed us round his small but perfectly formed campsite. There is a communal kitchen with 3 gas hobs and 3 washing up sinks. There is also an outside kitchen area. Also included is a communal fridge, kettle and toaster. A real home from home. But the best part of all was that we were assigned our own private toilet, washbasin and shower. Heaven!! Everything is cleaned daily and it just feels very well looked after. Sadly, we didn’t get to enjoy the very thoughtful fire circle, but we hope to use that on our next trip to Ireland. The campsite is situated about 3 miles from Armoy and about 9 or 10 miles from Ballycastle, a lovely wee seaside town. We took the ferry to Rathlin Island and we were not disappointed - it was really lovely with a great 5 mile walk out to Rue Lighthouse, where we saw a wild goat and heaps of wild seals - amazing! The campsite is also very near to The Dark Hedges but we don’t watch Game of Thrones so we didn’t visit. Probably a mistake on our part, but hey ho. Flesk Water is such a special campsite and we wish Andy and his wife all the best in their new venture. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience!

Really excellent site

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2023

We spent two nights at Flesk and we really enjoyed it. The campsite is clean and quite close to a number of lovely towns, as well as pretty close to Coleraine, if you need something larger. Andy is a great host and makes a real effort to ensure your stay is good. The site was clean and the facilities were great, I am used to freezing showers at campsites, but I'm pleased to report that Flesk had lovely warm water! I would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone.

Large Tent - Optional Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Good location, and had cooker, fridge, your own bathroom/shower during your stay. And Andy is friendly and helpful. Would stay again and maybe try one of the huts esp if it's raining again 😄
