Nestled just a mile from Ballgally beach, Sycamore Pods offers luxury glamping in two bespoke pods that provide guests with the ultimate outdoor break. Fully equipped with private hot tubs and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows, relax in these furnished pods right on the doorstep to the beach and say hello to some of the farm animals here too.
About Sycamore Pods
Both pods are nestled within Cairncastle village and situated on the hobby farm here. Perhaps you'll meet some of the resident farm animals including donkeys, sheep and pigs. From your own private hot tub to the comfortable beds, the site prides itself in providing guests with a luxury glamping staycation you won't forget. Each of the bespoke pods are family friendly (sleeping up to two adults and two children under 16) and include plenty of home comforts. The two pods, named Knockdhu and Cairndhu, are fully equipped with a double bed and double sofa bed - bedding is provided. Inside you'll have use of your own wood burning stove, a kitchenette including hob, coffee machine, fridge, microwave, toaster etc as well as an outdoor fire pit. Sorry, no pets here.

Pod facilities are all self contained and include en-suites, a hot tub, outdoor fire pit and WiFi. Wood and charcoal can be purchased onsite for use of fire pit.
Ballygally is approximately half a mile away where there is a great beach and shop. A couple of minutes walk from the pods is the Meeting House pub which does excellent pub grub.

Site rules and policies
1. We request that all payments are made in full on booking. Any cancellations will only be refunded if pod is able to be rebooked for the dates cancelled, in which case the full amount less a £25 administration charge will be returned.
2. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests exhibiting unacceptable or antisocial behaviour, under which circumstances no reimbursement of booking charges will be due.
3. We will not accept any liability for any damage to or loss of any personal property while on site. Any complaints must be made during the stay in order to give us the opportunity to rectify any problems; any complaints made after departure will not be accepted. We are relieved of any liability should, due to circumstances beyond our control, the pod becomes unavailable or unsuitable for letting. Any money paid will be reimbursed in full and the booking will be cancelled.
4. We reserve the right to levy a cleaning charge if the pod/hot tub are left in a particularly poor condition.
5. The pods are strictly non-smoking & no pets are allowed. Any evidence to suggest that there has been smoking in the pod will lead to additional cleaning charges.
6. The pods are cleaned and all linen and towels are changed between lettings, and weekly for longer letting periods.
7. Hot tub do's and don'ts provided in information booklet must be read and adhered to.
8. We ask that any noise outside of the pod i.e. music playing, has ended by 10.30pm, this is to ensure all guests on site can expect a quiet and relaxing evening.

The site is ideally situated just 10 minutes from Larne. If you're here for a city buzz, Belfast is just 35 minutes away.
A trip the seaside won't take long either, with the beach at Ballgally less than a mile from the pods.
