Oxon recoup Recommends site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Overall good; however have been to similar at cheaper rate per night.
Pleasant stay Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2026 We had a pleasant stay here however, we have a 4yr old dog and there wasn’t anywhere to let him have a run about apart from the nearby dog paddock which charged £10.50 for 50mins, which I think is unreasonable as there is no where else to take your dog apart from walk round the campsite.
It was a quiet campsite and the staff were friendly. The bathrooms were ok, just 3x shower cubicles each for the whole site (gents/ladies).
Nice size plots and well maintained. Walk into Chipping Norton village 30minutes.
Well kept site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2026 Site is well maintained, toilets and showers were always spotless when we used them. Site was busy when we stayed, but very peaceful, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Great location for Blenheim Palace Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2026 Arrived on time and staff were efficient and friendly. I was offered assistance to reverse my caravan onto pitch. Although i have s motormover, the jack doesn’t like gravel. Oggie was really helpful and directed me to my pitch straight away and I was set up and enjoying a cuppa really soon. Relaxed site and all amenities nearby. Will definitely use again

Lovely campsites Recommends site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Relaxing campsite and very clean
Great Campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Great campsite, friendly staff and clean facilities. It had a local pizza van which made great pizza's on Saturday evening and a coffee stand in the morning running during the weekend. It's also a short (25-30 min) walk to Chipping Norton which has a variety of shops/restaurants/pubs.
Lovely campsite Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2026 Just had a lovely stay at this campsite, very clean showers and toilets, friendly staff and a great pitch. Thank you we will be back.
Great little find ! Recommends site
Motorhome - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2026 Fantastic little site, super clean and very well maintained pitches, everything was so neat and tidy. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend if you want to explore the Cotswolds. literally 5min drive from chipping norton and 25mins from bourton on the water.
Very happy Recommends site
Motorhome - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2026 I have nothing negative to say about this campsite, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it only had 2 water points whereas others I have been in have individual water points alongside the power outlets.
The shower/ toilet block was spotless.
The only suggestion I have would be for a slightly bigger shop on site.
Cotswolds camping Recommends site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 A really lovely campsite for our first time camping. Everything was clean and tidy and friendly. Definitely be back. There was plenty to do in the area, Clarkson fsrm being one of many attractions, but the queues were very long!

Lovely stay, shame about the noise Recommends site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Overall, the stay was lovely.
We were relocated to a new pitch closer to the toilets and shower block and shown to the pitch in person. Very friendly team. The pitches are quite small and your neighbours can be quite close, depending on on how they park their car or pitch up. We were unlucky and got a very noisy set of neighbours on the first night who parked their car at 10pm, so close to the tent, it sounded like it was going to run over my mum's head as she tried to sleep. They then proceeded to slam the car doors continuously until nearly midnight, not ideal.
The field was great to walk the dogs and has dog waste bins supplied. The showers are lovely nice and hot. The only other noise problem is the noisy road adjacent to the site and the air path where some very large military air craft went over throughout one of the nights. The location is just outside chipping Norton with an Aldi close by and some nice pubs. We went to the Chequers in town. About a five to ten minute drive to Diddly Squat Farm Shop but go when it opens as it is horrifically busy! The queue to get it was insane.
Overall, would stay again in travelling to this area but may bring ear plugs.

First time campers Recommends site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 This was our first time camping and I can honestly say we had the best time! The toilets were spotlessly clean with music playing, the campsite itself was lovely. We will definitely be returning but next time will be with our kids.
Lovely Place Recommends site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Such a lovely location and lovely staff. We enjoyed our last camping experience. Place is always super clean.
Lovely site Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2026 Great medium size site. Friendly staff, clean and tidy. Easy access on and off site.
Good size pitches with quiet time from 10pm. The only two negatives are that they advertise Wi-Fi but it didn't work. Not a big issue but don't advertise it if its either poor or doesn't work. Also, somewhere to store your wash bag and stuff in the shower cubicle.
Other than that, well worth a visit and a stay.

Fantastic campsite, friendly and helpful staff Recommends site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Fantastic campsite, friendly and helpful staff - highly recommended for families.
This campsite is perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing break while exploring the Cotswolds. We stayed for three nights with our two-year-old daughter on a grass pitch with electric hook-up, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience.
There is plenty of space throughout the site, and the facilities are excellent. The campsite provides clean toilet and shower blocks, a family/disabled bathroom and shower room, drinking water points, and everything else you need for a comfortable, hassle-free stay. There are also portable toilets available near the tent pitches if you'd rather avoid the short walk to the main facilities.
The entire site is exceptionally clean, well maintained, and clearly cared for. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always on hand to help if needed.
During our stay, we met my dad and his partner in Bourton-on-the-Water. They decided at the last minute to stay overnight, so I called the campsite to ask if this would be possible. The team were incredibly accommodating and allowed them to stay alongside our pitch without any hassle. We also accidentally occupied the wrong pitch at one point, and the staff handled the situation professionally, politely, and with complete understanding.
Places like this deserve support. I highly recommend this campsite and genuinely don't have a bad word to say about it.
For anyone planning a visit, there's a petrol station and an Aldi just five minutes away, while Bourton-on-the-Water and many other popular Cotswold attractions are within a 20-minute drive.
As an added bonus, there's a stone-baked pizza van on-site on Saturday evenings, serving delicious freshly made Italian pizzas at very reasonable prices.
Thank you for such an amazing stay. We'll definitely be back soon. Dan & Lucie.
