About Wigwam Holidays Glenlivet
A peaceful Wigwam site perfect for those looking to get back to nature and reconnect with loved ones. Situated in the Cairngorm National Park, this is ideal for those looking for some much-needed peace and quiet. There are 12 Wigwams for up to four people, eight of which allow dogs and four are pet-free. Each one comes complete with a double bed and sofa bed with memory foam mattresses. There's an ensuite with a toilet, shower, washbasin and heated towel rail. Linen and towels are not provided. There's a small but fully equipped kitchenette complete with a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave electric two plate hob, sink and crockery and cooking utensils. There are an additional two Wigwam lodges, each sleeping up to six people. The Wigwam lodges have everything the four people Wigwams have and an additional sofa bed, larger bathroom, small TV and DVD player. The lodges are also dog friendly. All of the accommodations come with their own individual deckings, complete with outdoor seating, fire pits and BBQs, great for al fresco dining. Unwind and escape from everyday life or explore the beautiful surrounding nature at this rural escape. Dogs are allowed in most of the Wigwams and both of the Wigwam lodges at an additional cost. Fires are allowed, and each Wigwam shall be provided with its own individual fire pit.

Such a nice and quiet place lovely view and lovely drive up would defo go back but I would make my stay longer. Pod was so spacious and very clean would defo recommend

I was looking for a peaceful short break with my dogs. This was perfect, doorstep access to plenty of walks and the bike park only a few miles away. The cabins were well thought out, self contained and private. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Only wish I had booked longer.

Things to do on site and in the Tomintoul area
Just five minutes from the site is the Tomintoul Bird Hide and a Dark Sky discovery site, the perfect spot for widlife spotting. Keep your eyes peeled for eagles, wildcats, otters and more!
The site shares its name with one of Scotland's finest whiskys and it is recommended to take a trip to the nearby distillery if you're a whisky lovers! The famous Whisky Castle in the nearby village is also a great trip for those over 18. With more than 600 single malts to sample, it's the largest selection in the world!
For those looking for an extra bit of thrill, the Lecht Ski Centre is just ten minutes away by car and Craggan Outdoors is just 20 minutes, offering guests the chance to try out archery, canoeing, pony trekking, climbing, zip wires and more.
