Perfect

Everything was perfect and staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Great stay

Our family of 4, plus 2 dogs stayed for 2 nights and would definitely recommend. Location was great, Isaac was really helpful and the pod was well set up with everything we needed.

Loved it

Such a nice and quiet place lovely view and lovely drive up would defo go back but I would make my stay longer. Pod was so spacious and very clean would defo recommend

Perfect short break

I was looking for a peaceful short break with my dogs. This was perfect, doorstep access to plenty of walks and the bike park only a few miles away. The cabins were well thought out, self contained and private. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Only wish I had booked longer.

Brilliant 2 nights away

Booked for a family of 6 (all adult sized) for 2 nights. The layout of pod worked perfectly and the added bonus of a fire pit was excellent. We had a walk in the woods on arrival and discovered a kids playground and maze, which we all enjoyed, even though our kids are all older teens/early 20's! Only one little comment would be that there was only 1 small sharp knife. Seems trivial, but we had bought some fresh bread and didn't have any way cut it!

Perfect couples break

Fantastic site. Spotlessly clean, well organised and very warm and cosy with enough privacy. Plenty to see and do locally, will be back!

Amazing

Great as a base camp to visit places around Cairngorms. The pod was very clean, had all we needed to do some basic cooking. Perfect for a weekend away.

Brilliant stay

We loved our pod cabin, made full use of the firepit, shower and kitchen facilities. Beautiful area and quiet, we will definitely be back!

Short October stay

We stayed in one of the 6 person lodges as we were 2 adults and 3 kids. The lodge is very well designed and had plenty of room with a good-sized bathroom. It was very cold weather when we stayed but the lodge stayed lovely and warm. We used the fire pit on both nights for cooking food and marshmallows. We spent one of the days at the Glenlivet bike trails which was excellent. The kids also enjoyed the adventure play park next to the wigwams. We stayed for two nights and although the accommodation was excellent, we found it slightly expensive otherwise we would have stayed extra nights. Aside from the price, I can't fault it.

We are the highest village in the highlands of Scotland, (Which counts toward the cost of providing the service), so although it can be chilly outside at this time of year, it's beautiful. Highly recommended

Great location. Very friendly, accomodating staff. Great surroundings and beautiful walks. Wigwam is dog friendly too. Our dog had a great time. Will definitely be back. Particularly enjoyed the fire pit and BBQ. Thoroughly enjoyed dining Alfresco and being at one with nature. Wigwams are so cosy, warm and welcoming, with great facilities. The beds are so comfortable too.

Such a lovely weekend

What a perfect weekend from start to finish. The location is lovely - close to Aviemore, but feels in its own world. The wigwam came with everything that you could need and we loved being able to sit on the deck and have our dinner with the view.

Brilliant stay

Fantastic stay. Great for our family of two adults and two children. Great having the dining table and shower room inside the pod. Not too far from Aviemore (about 35 mins drive). Only tiny thing that would have been better is that some of the pods had fairy lights on the outdoor seating area, but ours never and the kids were a little sad that we didn't. Would highly recommend.

Amazing

We booked one night to stay and get away before kids holiday kicked off. Quiet remote little town with everyone lovely in it. The area where the cabins are located is beautiful and you're surrounded by forest with lots of nice walks around the area. The cabin was super clean with all essentials provided. We had the pet free cabin for 2 people, but it was more than enough space. The fire pit was clean and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows and having a BBQ. Would highly recommend it! I would say it's not much for kids unless you're planning hiking or cycling around as there is only a small park 5 min walk. Overall great value for money, loved our stay, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Can't wait to be back which, we definitely will!

Excellent and quiet oasis

Pods are set in a nice wooded area that feels remote but is next to a small town within walking distance from restaurant, shop, and pubs. A very nice kids play/activity area next to lodges and various walking trails. The pods themselves are very spacious and have nice decking areas outside with BBQ`s where you can sit around with family. Extremely nice location, one of the best so far I have been to.

Handy spot for bike trails

Lovely & handy for local bike trails. Spotlessly clean.

Wonderful

A great place to stay with older kids and dog. The en suite wigwam was warm and comfortable with everything we needed. The firepit was great and we loved the location. Will come again.

The place was very clean, great views, very good for mountain biking, hiking and distillery tours.

Great place for a weekend away with friends

Fantastic place to stay for the weekend. Had everything you could need and was very clean. Only thing is it’s not close to much but it was ideal for being surrounded by nature and going walks. Would definitely come back.

It's alright

It's pretty nice for the price - good heating and clean. Cozyness really depends on which pod you get, some have big windows facing the woods and some the parking. Biggest let down is that you have to pay £20 for duvets, sheets and pillows, so bring your own.

Great 4 night stay

Had a very relaxing week hiking in the Cairngorms. We normally camp but given the time of year and uncertain weather in the Cairngorms we decided to hire a pod. I am really pleased we did. Having a hot shower, a warm room and some cooking facilities meant we could recover from a hard, sometimes wet, hike and wake up ready for the next day. The location is great, just on the outskirts of the large village Tomintoul that caters for tourists, but its also very peaceful and quiet. The pod is clean and well organised, and the staff leave you to your holiday. On the way there we were sent a text by the warden saying we could pick out key up from a lock box and to call if we needed anything further. For the rest of the holiday we were left to enjoy the quiet. You'll see red squirrels running around the site going to nut feeders that have been set up. Almost unbelievably we managed to get a video of a visiting Pine Marten using a trap camera we set up just outside our pod. On an evening walk along the old military road that runs beyond the site we spotted deer without much effort. I think there's a good chance we'll be visiting again.

Hidden gem

Wonderful site - we stayed in a pet friendly wigwam. We had a lovely welcome from the site manager and found our wigwam to be beautifully clean with everything we needed. We discovered we’d forgotten to bring towels but one call to the site manager sorted that and he came and brought us some later in the evening. We made use of the fire pit for an epic bbq on our second evening. There’s a wonderful (and quiet) adventure playground about a minute from the wigwams, our kids played there loads and I wandered in the woodland with our dogs. Great location to visit the attractions that the highlands have to offer. Would recommend and would happily return. Thank you!
