Queensland Holiday Park is situated a mile away from the small scottish village of Barrhill close to the Galloway Forest Park- the UK's Dark Sky Park. The park is located centrally in the South West of Scotland so you can enjoy all the adventure options the area has to offer such as walking, cycling, golf and fishing.

About Queensland Holiday Park

The site is a perfect place to unwind and relax and enjoy all the countryside has to offer. Enjoy views across the Galloway Forest, beautiful surroundings and wildlife such as owls, squirrels, deer, pheasants and the family peacocks. You'll be staying in rural surrounds far from the bustle of major cities. On offer for tourers are hardstanding pitches that are all serviced. All touring pitches have 16-Amp electric hook-up. For glampers, there are 5 superb pods both with underfloor heating, electric sockets and USB charging. The luxury Galloway and Carrick Lodge pods and the Dark Skies and SunRise Mega Pod Max all have a private 2 person electric hot tub. They all have their own ensuite shower/toilet and kitchenette. There's a fitted double bed, large sofa bed and flatscreen TV. Outside is a BBQ and garden furniture. Cutlery and crockery are provided, plus bed linen and towels - all you need to do is bring yourself! The Merrick Camping Pod sleeps up to four, and is well insulated with underfloor heating. TV, small under counter fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Camp in style - leave the tent at home and just bring everything you'd need for camping.

The site is open from the start of March until the end of January, as well as weekends during February.
