Absolutely amazing! Can't fault it! Amazing weather and an amazing place. The site owners were lovely and very welcoming. We stayed here for 2 nights with our 3 year old grandson and it was his first time camping/glamping. What a great first trip this was. The Wigwam was so clean and cosy enough for 3 and the dog. The fire pack and wood for the fire was a decent amount, so we had a fire both nights and on the Saturday we had a BBQ on the pit and made marshmallows for dessert. As night fell, the dark sky and the stars were unbelievable to see and watch. Plenty space for a 3 year old to run free and wild. He loves the donkey on site and some sheep but most of all, he loved the brambles, haha! We made the short drive to Grey Mare's Tail and we were not disappointed. We climbed to the top, taking about 2.5 hours, and wow, stunning views and waterfalls. We had a picnic up there before making our way back down Totally fantastic experience and would recommend to all. Station Park in Moffat is also worth a visit with kids. The great outdoors.

Well equipped and comfy pod. Very clean, good shower with lots of hot water which was much appreciated after a good soaking on one of our walks. Everything you need for a short break. Very quiet, with lovely views. Somewhere to go to wind down and relax. Short drive to Grey Mares Tail and St Mary's Loch, both of which we did and were well worth it. Would come again.

Beautiful place. Very tranquil and relaxing with stunning views! Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. My daughter absolutely loved the donkey onsite and we enjoyed watching the sheep getting moved into the field beside the donkey. We enjoyed exploring the hills and were only a short drive away from the Coop, despite the illusion of seclusion miles away from anywhere! Will definitely be back for another visit.

This pod we stayed in was for animals and maybe my fault, as maybe I booked the wrong one, but smelled of dog - tv volume was also hard to get sorted.

Lovely little site - a few miles from Moffat - great location for exploring the area - the pods were great had all the things you need and were spotlessly clean and we were also reasonably lucky with the weather, which helps. The owner was really friendly and had lots of suggestions for places to visit and routes to take on our motorbikes. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Really enjoyable stay, accommodation is very comfortable and has all you need. Very peaceful and remote, but a 10 min drive to Moffat where there is a Co-op, pub etc. This site has stunning views, there are different trails leading to the forest behind and John, the owner, is planning to add to these. Would highly recommend and we will be going back for a longer stay in the future.

Fantastic site with only six wigwams. Lovely and cosy - very peaceful. Owner was lovely and does a great job on the site keeping it nice. Lots of dog friendly trails. The Wigwam was cosy and had everything we needed - we only took towels and bedding. Wigwams were about 5 miles from Mofatt. where there were plenty of restaurants and dog friendly too. Highly recommend these beautiful Wigwams and hope to return soon. Thank you for having us it was great to get away for a few days with our hairy wean, Lola the Beagle.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a good time. Owner was extremely nice and helpful and the location was great. Internet connection wasn't great so the TV in the pod worked intermittently but not a big problem as we were out and about. Would recommend for a stay.

This is a small site with six very well equipped pods. It is ideal for a quiet getaway with access to some lovely walks and scenery. It is a dark sky site, and is a bit of a revelation on a clear night - so many stars. You can walk up from the site to access forestry commission land and happily traipse for hours around there, there are several other good walks in easy driving distance (minutes not hours). The pods having en-suite facilities and kitchenette makes the whole experience even more positive.

Plenty of space to take a large dog cage. A dining table was provided and the beds were comfy. We took bed sheets and sleeping bags and it was perfect. A little electric heater that is installed worked great, and the location was scenic and relaxing. Lovely walkways nearby and the fireplace has a grid so that you can cook (we took camping pots etc but plates, glasses and cutlery were provided) x

Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids and it was perfect! The pod was so clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The owners were so quick to respond whenever we emailed them for more information. The views are just stunning and so peaceful! You can see and hear nature all around you. It was lovely to get an escape from the city and handy location to get to other places to explore too.

Not sure - pod was ok, but there should be fly screens as I honestly can't describe how many flies were in the pod during the night. The 2 pods next to us were same, everyone was out buying fly killer / screens after first night as we must have had over 50 flies in our pod - trying hard not to exaggerate. I must have had an hours sleep first night if I'm lucky as dog jumping about trying to catch the flies and they were buzzing around my ears... Think they are attracted to livestock which I get, but the pod should be designed to take this into consideration. We used fly killer the second day but then on the second night we couldn't open any windows to try and stop them getting in and it was so hot that it was like sleeping in a sauna. I don't think I would come back for this reason.
