Everything was better than expected. So peaceful and the accommodation was amazing. The views were spectacular, will definitely be back.

We stayed at one of the camping pods over the weekend and had such a beautiful relaxing stay, from the cleanliness of the pod to the hot tub we can't fault the accommodation. The pod is obviously small but they have made the most of the space to drawers underneath beds to having everything you need- fridge, electric hob, microwave and kettle. The sky at night is very clear and the animals coming to visit us at the fence it was just stunning! If your thinking of booking you won't regret it, as expected it is a remote location however there is a Sainsbury's around 20 mins drive away but would maybe take supplies to save the trip. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back very soon.

We had a wonderful couple of days at Wigwam. After driving through some absolutely breathtaking countryside, we were greeted on arrival by a baby lamb, who the farmer let us cuddle for a few minutes :). We stayed in one of the smaller cabins which, whilst being modest in size, had absolutely everything we needed for our short stay (and the shower was better that our one, at home). There were many, equally breathtaking, towns and villages (and some beautiful coastlines) to visit during the day and a lovely hot tub to relax in, as the evening draws in, and a fire pit burning away in the corner to add to the ambience. We had a thoroughly relaxing time at Wigwam and look forward to booking a return trip, later in the year. We would absolutely recommend this place, if you're looking to escape for a few days!!

Fantastic stay at Wigtown Wigwam Holidays. Booked for my partners birthday and it was the perfect chilled getaway for us both. The pod was super clean and tidy. Great facilities inside. Hot tub and fire pit outside were great additions. Great value for money. We had an amazing stay and even got the weather to match!

We loved our visit. Lovely accommodation and location, would def return. We couldn't get the hob to work so perhaps some dummy instructions would be good (or it wasn't working). Perhaps some longer matches too in the starter pack. Was very windy and they would've helped us get the fire pit lit. It was a lovely, peaceful, location with beautiful surroundings. It was clean and everything that was said would be provided was. Highly recommend for a wee slice of luxury surrounded by Mother Nature.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Wigtown Wigwams. The site was well maintained and in a peaceful setting. The Wigwam was perfect for us - it had everything we needed and was spacious for the two of us plus our dog. The patio area was great to relax and enjoy the sunshine we had. We never got to use the firepit due to the windy weather but it was great we had that option and even better that we could have bought the supplies onsite. Although there are quite a few wigwams, they way they are positioned means you don't feel overlooked and each has great views. We stayed in the pod without the hot tub but from what we could see they looked well set up. The woodland walk nearby was an added bonus and our dog loved his evening walks there. We would definitely stay again!

A good location with adequate accommodation and facilities. A little crowded for my liking, but luckily we were the only people there for the first 2 days. Could do with an extra couple of pillows to ensure a great night's sleep. No oven but there is a 2 ring hob, microwave and small fridge. Plan your stay well as the nearest shops are 5 miles away.

Thank you for your review. If you had contacted us we could have provided you with more pillows, this would not have been an issue. Our site is in a rural location where you can make the most of the peace and quiet and enjoy the countryside. It's a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle for a bit of downtime.
