About Pennygown Holiday Park
Easy to reach from the island's principle road, this family run park sits along the River Forsa. You'll need to rub your eyes after taking in the views of the Sound of Mull and the islands beyond - it's that beautiful. You're just 8 miles from Craignure where the ferry with bring you from the mainland and a mile from the village amenities of Salen. The farm itself is home to gentle Highland cattle, Penny - the park's mascot - and plenty of grass pitches with electric.
Open from 1 April to 31 October
Site facilities include showers, toilets, a washing up sink and Wi-Fi. A laundry with washing machines and tumble dryers is also provided.
It's a short drive to Salen, which offers local shops.

Things to do on site and in the Isle Of Mull area
Not only is the park a doggie haven, much of the island is the same. Walks along the seafront will delight your pooch and you can bring him on a tour of stunning forested areas, brimming with sticks for him to play with.
What else is there to get lost in? How about the nooks, crannies and fascinating stories of ancient castles which have long welcomed local clans.
Or, would you like to see the movements of rare wildlife? From chirping birds to sealife flashing in the waves, there are moments you can have here that are very rare elsewhere.
Beaches are just as beautiful as in other parts of the UK and don't struggle with overcrowding - in fact you can enjoy their beauty in peace. Kayaking, boating and more are also on the cards nearby. Or, come and meet the locals and feel the buzz at Tobermory (11 miles from base) with its excellent shops and restaurants.
