Fernlea Certificated Location is a peaceful, dog friendly base for adult members only of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, set in the Carse of Gowrie with the River Tay close by. Pop the van on a comfy pitch and head out to explore Perth and Dundee, thanks to a bus service every hour which will take you directly to each city.
About Fernlea Certificated Location
Divided into two pitching areas, the site offers just five concrete hardstandings and a set of well kept grass pitches for use in good weather. You'll look out either towards the pretty Sidlaw Hills or across the tranquil River Tay to Fife as the site is in a scenic country area. Every pitch includes electric and a water tap with drinking water. Sorry, tents campers cannot stay. Dogs are welcome, but must always be on leads as friendly hens can roam by one of the pitching areas.

Site facilities include access to an off road area for dog walking. Free WiFi is available for BT users only. Fresh eggs are available for purchase from site. The site does not provide toilets or showers, so tourers will need to have their own facilities.
In the village one mile away there are two mini supermarkets, a chemist, butcher, fish and chip shop and pub. A restaurant can be found at the Inchture Hotel, accessible via bus.

Things to do on site and in the Errol area
Fernlead includes lots of friendly free range hens, cheeky ducks and even adorable chicks and ducklings at the right time of year, all of which guests love to say hello to.
Locally, Cairn o'Mohr Winery offers interesting tours and has a very tasty cafe.
For those who love to tour the countryside there is lots to charm in Perthshire, or you can forget the car and splash some cash in the top shops and excellent bars and restaurants at Perth and Dundee.
