Campsite was easy to find and they were expecting us when we arrived. Tent was well-stocked and comfy. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate but while we were inside, the tent was warm and dry. The campsite facilities were really good. Clean and warm showers and a well-equipped kitchen if you needed it. Will definitely make a return visit.

We had a wonderful time camping at Ruberslaw. Our pitch and bags of logs were easy to find and we had all the information we needed for a great stay. The history of the site is very interesting, and we enjoyed exploring the grounds. The hub was clean and all the pitches are well sheltered with lots of space. We will definitely stay again.

Ruberslaw was everything and more! We had such a positive experience and time which we contribute to the organisation and communication from the team as well as a beautifully manicured landscape and working farmland to enjoy and experience. We were well informed prior to our holiday of what to expect as well as helpful information to help plan our visit. Ruberslaw is a gorgeous landscape where the owners have responsibly and respectfully included areas of the land for campers to enjoy. The facilities are impeccably clean, organised and tastefully designed. The team were polite, attentive and helpful. We camped in the woods where we were absolutely content throughout the visit. The outhouses with toilet and sink along w/daily firewood and water delivery were well appreciated. We feel restored from our visit; we look forward to returning in the future. Thank you, keep doing what your doing!Â

Great place to camp for a night or longer. Very relaxing and lots of nice walks from the campsite. Plenty of facilities for cooking, washing and showers which were all easy to access and use. Everything was well maintained and very clean.

The site is very pretty and a short drive from both Jedburgh, Hawick and St Boswell's. Excellent friendly staff, and the site is peaceful. Really useful to have kitchen facilities to use, as well as clean toilets and showers. I am not much of a camper so I suppose my only niggle wouldn't matter to most. There is a sheltered hub where you can sit and eat meals, have a fire, and charge your phone. What would be ideal for me would be if there was an indoor sitting area that was lit all night. The lights were only on from 7-10 and fairly dim. I would've liked somewhere to read at night, but I suppose that's something you can't get when camping! Great place though and we will go there again.

Great camping site. If you stay at 'Home Wood', it's definitely worth adding the 'taking up your luggage for you' option!

We had never camped before so we went into this very blind but open minded. We have all come away absolute camping converts! We loved our stay so much and we were sad to pack up and head home. We definitely recommend the campsite.

Beautiful campsite and beautiful grounds which feels very rural- all you will hear is birdsong, but is a only short drive from a number of towns and activities. We went grass sledging at Born in Scotland and to the park at Harestanes. The walled garden is beautiful and the games lawn was well used for cricket, football, and rounders by our children. The facilities are excellent, and really well considered. Whoever designed them has clearly camped before and thought really hard about what campers need in terms of facilities. Wonderfully hot showers as well! Our children (and us) already want to go back!

Beautiful location. A great mix of pitches, ranging from fully catered to a wild woods experience. Fantastic facilities and really helpful and friendly staff. On the more expensive side but well worth it. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

If you are looking for a luxury campsite with a bar, pool and luxury accommodation - this isn't for you. If you're looking for a natural getaway in the woods, with all the facilities you need, plenty of places for the kids to explore, a wide variety of pitches from the family-friendly central area to really very private and remote cabins, then you've come to the right place. You can watch badgers, take a walk up the Slaw, watch the abundant nature all around you, or explore the many interesting sites in the Borders area. We really enjoyed our stay here, and so did the children. Highly recommended.

Lovely site - well thought out, friendly staff, super location and local walks. Looking forward to returning. It has some great ambience with the history of the walled garden. Eco credentials (practical not excessive) Well thought out facilities, including a pristine shower/toilet area Lots of wildlife and if the site is quiet - plan for the badgers to check out the tent in the early hours.
