A lovely woodland setting with pretty walks along by the river. Facilities clean and showers hot. A good location for discovering the local area. Thought the caravans were a bit close together at first, but realised they were all grouped around the facilities because it was out of season

Great variety of pitches. Unfortunately, the one we booked was flooded the week prior, so the electric wasn't working, but they saw to it that we had a great alternative spot. Brilliant having the small shop on site, which has all sorts! Lovely walks from the campsite which we were told about, including one right alongside of the river, which takes you through a small green and has picnic tables and metal plates for barbecues. The town is an enjoyable 45 minute walk away, on a pathway away from the road. Toilet and shower blocks were clean and efficient, with a good hot water supply. There was also a laundry area which we didn't use but it looked good. Play park for children and dog friendly which is a bonus. Friendly staff who know the area and the facilities well!

Nice, quiet campsite in lovely location. Very close to Aberfoyle and surrounded by trees. I spotted a red squirrel and there were clear skies at night.

Had booked for a grass pitch with electric but unfortunately it was too wet. They offered us a choice of hardstanding pitches with electric that was great and we had a very relaxing weekend. Plenty of clean toilets and showers. Great walks from site and would highly recommend.

Staff really friendly and very helpful. We had problems with our electrics in our motor home and the owner was so helpful and lent us a spare lead - a very helpful, friendly and a very nice gentleman (Bill). Site has everything you need in a great location. Pretty village nearby and the cycle track is brilliant. Saturday nights they have a pizza van pre-ordered but cooked on site - brilliant. Thank you, will definitely return.

I felt that the toilets and showers were outdated. There was nothing on site. I thought that the tents and caravans were too close together. The only good thing was Oliver, the owner, being friendly. I made a mistake when I booked as I meant to book an electric grass pitch. When I arrived, Oliver explained that I had to pay an extra £9 per night for hook up, which I thought was steep.

Lovely setting and walks, including seeing a kingfisher for the first time. Dark sky, perfect for seeing stars.

Lovely stay at Cobleland. The facilities are a bit tired but all very clean. The campsite is split up into different areas and we were amongst the trees on a hard standing pitch. Great river path from the site that takes you into Aberfoyle with cycle paths nearby too.

Had a good day/night, wish I had booked in for more than one night as more to do, but I ran out of time.

First time staying here. Had been raining heavily before we arrived so was a little saturated on some of the grass, but pitched the tent up on a decent spot with hook-up. The campsite is in a prime location for walks into Aberfoyle and surrounding parks and walks. It is also close to some lochs and there is plenty to do around the area. Will be back again soon.

I would like to say that the campsite was great, I would definitely recommend it to anybody that I speak to who are planning on a trip. Most of all though, I would like to thank Will who helped us with an extension cable and connector, which we didn't have with us, and even brought us some seats out that we didn't even ask for, which was truly kind!! Although we didn't get a chance to climb the Munros as we intended to, we will definitely be back to visit. Thanks to Will for making us feel so welcome!! Many thanks mate, see you again.

Very accommodating, facilities were great and clean. Phone charging available in office is very helpful. Great location, close to Aberfoyle town and to Go Ape which is handy!

Lovely little site, staff were very helpful and informative. Toilet block was nice and clean and well maintained. Shower block could do with updating as a little dirty and work around the edges. Pitch was nice and big, however it was very wet so turned into a mud bath by the end.

Arrived to a very busy, popular campsite. Our pitch was nice by the river - though during the night after a lot of rain, a river had flooded under tent and was sloshing about. Chatted to reception staff and though they were fully booked, they tried everything to assist us - though in the end we moved tent other way and it was grand. Park had a riverside walk, which was great and quite a nice length. You could well extend into Queen Elizabeth forest but we drove round through Aberfoyle to park up and enjoyed a stunning walk. There are two other tracks as well which was great, dog loved it too.

Not enough showers for volume of people, tents all too close together, midges galore, very basic shop. Nice views and walks, but typical Scottish weather had soaked the pitches, way to muddy, site can't help that.

Cleanliness is only 3 star as toilets and shower were in need of a spruce up. Hand soap wasn't refilled the whole time we were there, but cracking, warm shower which you need when camping. Great location, far enough away from Aberfoyle and you can take the kids on stroll but close enough to avoid the tantrums. All staff/owners were pleasant and helped when needed.

The place is perfect. The site is situated right on the river with walks available no matter which way you want to travel. The facilities are very good with Oliver and staff providing regular cleans. The on site store stocks all the necessities. The only gripe I had was very noisy kids still playing in the park at almost 11pm, which I dealt with myself as my little boy was struggling to settle. Will return but I doubt I will get the weather again as the days I stayed were amazing.

Great location, nice walks near site. Pitches are a decent size. Shop on-site stocked with essentials. Closest town 2 miles away. Showers and toilets were clean. Showers could use a shelf or like, for storing some bits.
