A fantastic eco-friendly yurt retreat set on a working dairy farm in the beautiful Quantock Hills. Stunning accommodation is provided by five traditional Mongolian yurts, allowing couples and families to get back to nature and enjoy a tranquil break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Somerset Yurts is set on Hill Farm, a 300 acre dairy farm in the beautiful Quantock Hills of Somerset. The five 19 foot yurts are situated on a south facing field, with uninterrupted and far reaching views across Taunton Vale and to the Blackdown Hills, and Exmoor beyond. The yurts are luxuriously furnished, each with a double bed, double futon, dining area and wood burning stove. There's also a table and chairs for four, chest of drawers, lantern and bedside light, coolbox, mirror, and power for charging essential gadgets. Outside you'll find a decking area, picnic bench, BBQ and gas stove. Guests also have access to the fully equipped kitchen in the communal Dutch Barn which also houses the site's facilities. The farm is popular both with couples looking for a relaxing retreat in the countryside, and families looking to experience the freedom of the open air, and to let the kids run off all that steam in acres of green fields. Everyone will enjoy toasting marshmallows on the campfire in the yurt field while watching the sun go down over Hestercombe Woods!
