Pod - En-suite Deluxe Accessible Wigwam Pod (Pet Friendly)Aug 2023

A lovely serene area to absorb some nature and spend some quality time with the family away from the hustle and bustle of life. Well equipped cabins, especially the accessible pod and everything you need for your stay. When we stayed, it was equipped with beds, bedding, crockery, cutlery, kettle, microwave, toaster, TV, picnic benches, allocated BBQ/firepit, outdoor table and chair. You also have access to shared play area, fields, small pond and the café and bike store. A really tranquil area. The pods are a little close to each other so not much privacy outside the pod.

Quiet and comfortable

Nice, quiet location with plenty of space for children and dogs to run around. Accommodation is small but everything you need for a short stay. Very clean and well maintained. Would recommend and stay again

Pod - En-suite Deluxe Wigwam Pods (Pet Free)Jun 2023

The pod and surrounding areas were absolutely beautiful, and the level of hygiene was high. We were chuffed when we arrived as we found the cost was reasonable too. However, during our stay, the lack of organisation was ridiculous. The bed was not made up, and no bedding was provided to do it ourselves, TV had no signal as the aerial was clearly faulty (we don't watch much while on hols, but that's not the point). The fridge/freezer was not working and we had brought loads of food with us to keep costs down. So the first night was spent packing up and moving to another pod which, with two kids, was a huge inconvenience. Saying all this, when I did provide feedback, the owner of the site was apologetic and promised the matters were being addressed, and we were sent a voucher. Given how lovely the facilities and site are, we would love to return and remain hopeful that the organisation is much better in the future. Given how nice the people and the pods were, yes I would still recommend it.

Excellent holiday accommodation

Pod - En-suite Deluxe Wigwam Pods (Pet Free)Oct 2022

Great location, although most would need to drive into Bury rather than walk. We really liked how the field only catered for 5 cabins so we all had a nice view. The facilities were excellent, although the BBQ pack wasn't great. For £25 we were provided with a few logs, one bag of coal to last 2 nights and 2 fire bricks, no matches or clean grill. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and especially loved the contactless check in and cosy cabins. Will definitely come again.
