Beach View Holiday Park is located right beside a fantastic beach between Thorpeness and Minsmere on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The park is a perfect base for exploring the coast's pretty villages and superb countryside, where you can recharge your batteries stresses in the peace of an escape from normal life.

About the site

Set on a cliff top with views to rival anything you could imagine, this spot is just a short, easily walkable slope from a superb beach. This is the place to rest and relax with those relaxed beachy vibes - no need for entertainment acts and shows when the coast is brimming with natural activities! Campsite pitches are all on level ground, with optional electric if you need it and most pitches have their own water point. There is also a group of fully-serviced pitches, set on hardstanding and offering electric, water and waste connections. The site doesn't accept tents, but offers the perfect alternative to a night under canvas - a cosy and furnished Snugg Pod or a stylish Super Camping Pod, with its own ensuite kitchen. For comfy, hassle free shelter, you can't beat these. Seasonal pitches are also available. Beach View also includes two and three bedroom holiday lodges along the seafront for short breaks and weekly rentals.

Site facilities include a toilet and shower block with heating, including accessible facilities and a baby changing area. A games room with pool table, table football and table tennis is provided, plus a clubhouse on the beach.

You'll find a bar and cafe open six days a week in the summer with its own beachside terrace. In the summer, the park uses a wood fired pizza oven to serve up fresh pizza. WiFi is available for a small fee.

We do not accept 'group bookings' or large parties a maximum of 2 pitches can be booked online on our website.

We do not allow camp fires or fire pits (BBQ's are allowed as long as they are kept off the grass).

Things to do on site and in the Leiston area

You'll be itching to get your feet onto Suffolk's pretty coastal walks, including the Sandlings Walk and the Suffolk Coastal Footpath. The coastal path takes you on a beautiful tour between Aldeburgh and Southwold and, if you're keen to explore on two wheels, there are superb bike routes taking you to Thorpeness and Aldeburgh.

In Leiston, you can enjoy a small independent cinema, where popcorn and a movie are great for a rainy day. Work up a sweat in the town's refurbished gym and spa centre or just browse the shops.

Aldeburgh is a great place to soak up the sea air, with cafes, pubs restaurants and shops where you can people watch and treat yourself.

From there it's an easy hop to Snape - famous for its concert hall developed by Benjamin Britten and a perfect place to see live entertainment. Don't miss the monthly farmers market for some delicious Snape Maltings flavours.
