We enjoyed our short stay at this site. Good serviced pitches. Basic facilities. Small site of approximately 20 pitches. Great location to visit Sutton Hoo National Trust site as it's a five-minute walk away. We will return.

It's a working farm, but the site is nice and clean, with well-spaced pitches, clean toilets and showers and a dog walk at the back. The owner came round later on to see if everything was ok. These are fully serviced pitches, with work-in-progress hedging around pitches, which will obviously grow. Would recommend.

Great set up, allowing children to play safely and feel independent while still in view of parents setting up/relaxing. Clean facilities, easy to walk down to Sutton Hoo. Good notice board, clearly stating which plot was yours upon arrival.

Lovely big flat segregated pitches just a stones throw away from Sutton Hoo. Water, Power and grey waste on the pitch which was excellent and very convenient. Facilities were ok and clean enough but maybe not to my standard. The showers although hot and adequate enough were on the small side and not enough hooks so I’d recommend taking a bag to put your things in. Otherwise a very pleasant stay and also to add although very near the A12 it was very quiet and peaceful at night!

A gem of a site found by chance whilst looking for a site close to Sutton Hoo. Clean and tidy, compact but surprisingly spacious. The pitches are well set out and of a good size which means that you will never feel overlooked or cramped. Helen (the owner) was helpful and friendly. I shall happily recommend this site however there's a tiny part of me that would like to keep it secret, as it is indeed a very special place.

Only drawback was the flies, but to be expected with chickens in field opposite.

We booked this site because we were visiting Sutton Hoo - therefore it was the perfect location within 10 minutes safe walk to the site. The campsite is quite small with only 20 pitches, but all the pitches were large and well maintained. There were lots of families having a great time and it was lovely to see the children using the large space in the middle of the site. As 2 adults we were a little worried about the number of children, but they were all so well behaved and enjoying the facilities. Our pitch was fully serviced and surrounded by a hedge, which is quite new but will give even more privacy once developed. The facilities are quite basic, but very clean and I would see great if you have a family as there is a separate washroom with a bath. There is a pub within walking distance, but the walk is on a busy road (with a path). The pub Wilford Bridge has an extensive menu, but we only had drinks.

Although we only stayed for one night due to the purpose of our visit, we had a lovely time. When we arrived our name and pitch number was on the welcome board, which we thought was a nice and very useful touch. We did not have a serviced pit but both were good value. The site was well maintained and the shower and toilet block were very clean. There was a municipal kettle and fridge-freezer in the reception, a play area for younger children and a slackline for older children. My teenage daughters were very impressed by the exceptional quality of the free Wi-Fi on the site (we later found out that it wasn't so good on the far side of the site, but in a chat with the owners before we left, they told us they were in the process of getting this boosted). The site was very quiet at night and just a stone's throw from Sutton Hoo.

We wanted a couple of nights away (2 adults plus 2 small children) not too far from home and found this place. The site is small in terms of number of pitches but the pitches are generously sized and most with water and electric. The location is good; great for the Sutton Hoo site itself (walkable, even with the small children!) At least one walkable pub (Wilford Bridge) and plenty of other food options a short drive away. Well connected (A12 not too far away, but not too close.) Site is well maintained. Some shade (not much) and a climbing frame/swings/slide that kept the children entertained for hours. Nice touches, like the communal kettle, and the option to hire fire pits, all added to the positive. Not sure if we'll come back, having now seen the Sutton Hoo exhibition, but would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to come this way!

Small, quiet site near to many local places of interest. Plenty of places to visit for coffee or afternoon tea! Site is small and friendly with plenty of space on pitch for a large tent and a gazebo if wanted. Dog walking on site and locally. Fire pit hire very reasonable. Washrooms clean and well serviced and shower was the perfect temperature. Free wi-fi, site hosts very friendly and a coffee van visits on the weekend! Great value site for ten days of peace and relaxation and Sutton Hoo and the River Deben, with HMS Vale cafe easy walking distance. Brilliant!

Ideally located for visiting Sutton Hoo (10 mins walk) to watch their outdoor production of Macbeth. The site itself was very clean and well-appointed, with each plot divided from it's neighbour by young hedges. The plots all had water and electricity and ours had a 'grey-water' drain. Overall, an excellent site.

Great location, good basic facilities with fire pit hire and logs, fridge/freezer for ice blocks and the serviced pitch was perfect. The kids (5&7) had unlimited fun with new friends on the climbing frame area and it was easy to let them be free yet still keep an eye on them! The loo and shower block was ok, could do with a few more. Lovely place, and friendly owners. So much to do in surrounding areas!!!

Fantastic location for the local areas. Good size pitches. Simple but everything we needed. Lovely family shower room as well as the usual ones. Accessible kettle was a lovely touch. Dog walking field not fully enclosed from tent section but interesting enough to keep ours occupied and within it. Yes the adjacent road was a little noisy but we expected this and it didn’t affect our stay.

Beautiful, well-kept site. Provides freezers to keep your food and freezer packs. Also an electric kettle for anyone wanting to use it and the use of the Wi-Fi at no extra cost. Wonderful place.

Perfect little site - everything was clean well maintained. The serviced pitch was a good size to spread out table and chairs. Helen was lovely and visited us to make sure all was ok for us. Thank you, Helen.
