Brynperffaith is a family-run sheep farm in the beautiful countryside of the Rheidol Valley, offering a tranquil back-to-basics camping experience. Only five minutes away from the famous Devil's Bridge waterfalls and nine miles away from the seaside town of Aberystwyth, this site is an excellent spot for campers to enjoy some peace, surrounded by fantastic views.

About the site

Situated in Devils Bridge, a small village nestling at the top of the Rheidol Valley, this working farm site is a fantastic base for exploring Mid Wales. The site is just a short distance to the famous Devil's Bridge waterfalls, the Rheidol Valley Steam Train, and plenty of delightful walks for all those itching to put their walking boots on. The night sky is out of the world with low light pollution, and the mornings are filled with bird songs. Don't forget to say hello to the friendly sheep too! With just a few camping pitches here, the site offers plenty of seclusion and space. Set up your tent and relax with incredible views to help you unwind. Fresh farm eggs are available on request. Pets are welcome but must not be allowed to wander on their own.

Things to do on site and in the Aberystwyth area

The Silver Mountain Llywernog lead mines are nearby, offering a fantastic day out to experience the exciting history of mining life in by-gone times with plenty of activities for the children.

Not only that, but the site is only five minutes away from the famous Devils Bridge waterfalls.

The site is also very close to the famous Vale of Rheidol Railway train station. Exploring the Rheidol Valley by steam train gives you a new perspective of the rolling terrain and fantastic views of the Rheidol Reservoir as you travel up the mountain.
