Dolau Afon welcomes families, couples, and backpackers to a charming location within the Cambrian mountains. Situated within a Dark Sky area, and an area of outstanding natural beauty, stargazing from a range of pitches catering to tents, motorhomes or tourers. Electric hook ups available, and a patio pitch. Walkers and cyclists are welcome, plus small rallies can also be arranged. WiFi is available throughout the site. Dogs are welcome!
About the site
Based in a tranquil location within the Cambrian Mountains, pitch up at a rural and friendly camping site run by a husband and wife team. The backdrop here is stunning, surrounded by lush woodland and joining the River Ystwyth nearby - being in a Dark Sky area also means stargazing is a real treat! Once part of the Trawsgoed Estate, this former three acre smallholding is now home to a number of tent and touring pitches. Welcoming families, backpackers, cyclists and bikers, the site is also dog friendly. Sorry, no stag or hen weekends. The site is also home to a patio pitch, complete with electric hook up, you'll also enjoy use of your own fire pit/BBQ (wood available to purchase onsite) and a hammock for lazing under the sun. Pitches are suitable for caravans and motorhomes. Make the most of the site's free fishing license for fly or spin fishing onsite too, worm only. Up to two dogs are allowed per booking.
