About Dolau Afon Holidays
Based in a tranquil location within the Cambrian Mountains, pitch up at a rural and friendly camping site run by a husband and wife team. The backdrop here is stunning, surrounded by lush woodland and joining the River Ystwyth nearby - being in a Dark Sky area also means stargazing is a real treat! Once part of the Trawsgoed Estate, this former three acre smallholding is now home to a number of tent and touring pitches. Welcoming families, backpackers, cyclists and bikers, the site is also dog friendly. Sorry, no stag or hen weekends. The site is also home to a fully insulated glamping trailer too! Complete with electric and free use of the site facilities, you'll also enjoy use of your own fire pit/BBQ (wood available to purchase onsite) and a hammock for lazing under the sun. Sleeping up to four, it also features a well equipped outdoor kitchen as well as picnic bench for dining alfresco. Make the most of the site's free fishing license for fly or spin fishing onsite too, worm only.

Take time to explore the rich scenery in the Cambrian Mountains on your doorstep, whether its a woodland walk or a hillside climb to soak up the views.
Hop on board the railway at Aberystwyth for a clifftop cruise taking you through the mountain peaks - don't miss the spectacular scenery over towards Devil's Bridge, Hafod Estate and more.
Keen cyclists are close to the Sustrans National Cycle Route 81, plus the Ystwyth Trail is an arm's reach away too.
Don't forget to bring your fishing rods either, as fly and spin fishing is available on the riverbank here.
