Orchid Meadows is a rural oasis in West Wales, ideally located between the Cambrian Mountains and Cardigan Bay. With everyone welcome from couples and singles to families and groups of friends, you'll find quirky and comfortable glamping accommodation. Orchid Meadows is located on a private nature reserve and is a fantastic opportunity to get back to nature with 25 acres of secluded countryside to explore.

About Orchid Meadows

This peaceful and scenic 25-acre site gives you the ultimate back-to-nature experience while being well-placed to explore the Cardigan Bay coastline and the delightful seaside town of New Quay and the pretty villages of Llangrannog and Cwmtydu. Alternatively, you can head into the mountains and search for red squirrels and pine martens. A traditional Mongolian-style yurt, Red Kite Yurt is furnished with colours to match its name. Inside you'll find a king-sized bed, sofa and wood-burner for colder days. There is optional space for two children on campmats or in an additional tent outside. The quirky Goldfinch Glampavan started as a touring caravan in the 1980s. It offers a comfortable and stylish stay in the site's orchard area. It comes complete with a small double bed and space for a child as well as a seating area and coffee table. Each glamping unit has its own private outdoor covered cooking area with a two-ring gas cooker, pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery. There is also a seating area with a fire pit/BBQ, perfect for admiring the peaceful surroundings. There are pizza ovens on-site too. You will be provided with a complimentary box of logs, kindling and fire-lighters so you can spend the evenings gathered around the BBQ or campfire. Your stay starts with a complimentary box of homemade cakes and finishes with great memories. You can follow the nature trail and use the orchard guide to discover heritage apple varieties. There is a pond-side living willow 'village' to visit and the site offers free produce from the polytunnel. The site is home to free-roaming hens and cats. Unfortunately, that means dogs are not permitted.

Facilities and amenities

Each glamping unit has its own shower and toilet in Wren Hut, with complimentary eco-toiletries. There is also a shared sink and a small fridge. WiFi and a USB charging point is available.

Head a five minute drive into Tregaron, enjoy a meal at the Y Talbot Tregaron or one of the many cafes and pick up your essentials at the Spar.
