Bell Tent - Bell Tents May 2025 Perfect stay for one night for a little get away with a young child. Access to the park and its facilities were a stones throw away from the tent. Was lovely going to bed and waking up listening to the animals.
Sleepless Recommends site
Bell Tent - Bell Tents Aug 2024 The bell tents are overpriced in my opinion, and I feel like I have stopped in far better for the same money. The mattress on the pallets is the most uncomfortable I've ever tried to sleep on. Honestly, it's like sleeping on bricks, so hard.
The actual camp is fine and the staff we met where fantastic, so defo go again but not in the bell tents 👍
First time glamping Recommends site
Bell Tent - Bell Tents Aug 2024 Stayed for 2 nights first time glamping. Myself, husband and a 20 month old.
The tent was lovely and clean, had everything that you would need. Lovely place to stay very peaceful. Loved hearing the wolves howling at night and first thing in the morning. A little park on site for the little ones, plus a bit of green if you wanted to play ball games. Free entry to the farm. Tractor ride was fun and amazing, as well as meet and greet with some animals.
Asda is a 3 minute drive (also has a McDonald's inside) and a minute up the road is a B&M and The Range.
Really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.
Only downfall is that the toilet and showers are about a minute walk from campsite into the farm, which is fine in daylight but spooky at night-time.
Had a great time Recommends site
Bell Tent - Bell Tents May 2024 First class hospitality. Great park.
Bell tent was fully equipped with all you need. If we wanted more, we asked and we got. Friendly Fred looked after us and guided us on attractions in the area and where to eat, buy food etc.
Nice stay all around and very comfy. Will definitely go again and recommend 👍🏼
Overnight adventure Recommends site
Bell Tent - Bell Tents May 2024 Location of the site was lovely, the cleanliness of the bell tent was second to none, and having our own private firepit and seating area was lovely. A welcome pack was left and an electric cold box was really handy (although no fresh milk was left as advised in the welcome pack). What let our experience down was the toileting facilities being too far away. Some heating in the tent, given it had electric, would have been nice and we felt the mattress on top of a palette base was hard and uncomfortable. However, for one night, the experience of being in a tent was great - we didn't have a shower as we felt it looked unappealing!! It is the same washing/toilet/shower facilities as guests in the park and although cleaned at night, they were just too far away from the tent. It would be great to see this site developed - if a separate shower block/toilets were near the tents, this would definitely be worth another visit as we felt it was currently a rather overpriced experience.
The perfect night away Recommends site
Apr 2024 Myself and my partner enjoyed a night away at Acres of Glamping.
The owner was professional and accommodating, even providing us with advice on all the best local places for food! We enjoyed a relaxing evening by the fire pit listening to the sounds of the animals. The following morning we ventured into the park and were greeted by the wonderful staff members who advised us that we could actually feed some of the animals!! All in all, it made for a great day out!
We will definitely be returning again!!!

Wonderful stay Aug 2023 I had an absolutely delightful stay at Acres of Glamping yurts. We had travelled up from Cornwall to visit family and this place caught my eye and I'm so glad it did!
From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the thoughtful amenities provided. There was a cooking corner stocked with utensils plus complimentary teas and coffees, which made me feel right at home. I felt like I could've arrived with nothing. The plastic butt for water transportation was a convenient touch as we forgot ours LOL!!!
The inclusion of a basket of logs for the private-use firepits surrounded by lovely seating outside was a lovely bonus too, perfect for cosy evenings under the stars enjoying the peaceful surroundings. There was the lovely alarm clock of all the animals in the morning lol xx
We found the location itself was fantastic, so easy to find off the A55, signposted off the main roundabout. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, so we will definitely be returning with our grandchildren this summer. There are tractor rides animal shows, soft play and a cafe.
Overall, my time at Acres of Glamping yurts was fabulous and I can't wait to return this summer with the family.
