About Caraway Meadows

This small family friendly site is set amongst a 75 acre farm at the foot of the Preseli Hills and the source of the Eastern Cleddau River. Offering an eco friendly approach to camping with the land used to promote biodiversity and surrounded by a Site of Specific Scientific Interest. Enjoy a peaceful spot amongst a remote area of the Pembrokeshire National Park with spectacular views from just five camping pitches without electric. Each pitch is a spacious distance from the next, perfect for up to six people to pitch up the tent and relax. It's a great spot for those looking for walks, mountain biking and even horse riding as a bridleway from site takes you straight out to the iconic Preseli Hills. If you're interested the site owners will happily take you for a walk around the farm so you can meet the Shetland sheep, donkeys, chickens, cattle and even Shackleton the Cockerel! Two well-behaved dogs, kept on a lead are allowed. Campfires are permitted as long as they are in the fire wok provided. The site will supply a bundle of logs and extra can be purchased throughout your stay. Do note at least one person must be a member of the Greener Camping Club but you can add this when booking. Please note, that only one pitch has direct vehicle access (Willowherb). But cars can be left in the car park which is a short walk to all of the pitches. If you've lots of kit, the site can deliver it by quad bike, or you can use a wheelbarrow.

Caraway Meadows is open from 01/07 to 31/10.
