Clear filters Absolutely incredible!
Small Tent - Small Non Electric Grass Pitch Aug 2025 I have been trying to find a camping facility close to home for years and was so excited when I came across this one! The staff were friendly and informative, the location was easy to get to, and the plots were a great size and the privacy fences were a wonderful addition. Looking forward to coming again!

Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches (Hayfield) Aug 2025 A gorgeous campsite with a fabulous ethos!
I usually find camping a stressful experience, seeing the waste that is generated by those around us! But here, the set up was thoughtful.
The pitch had oodles of space, a composting toilet and bins were provided to organise waste correctly! The site was beautiful and quiet. We loved our outside fire pit and the use of the tripod and Dutch oven for cooking! It really was a lovely, lovely family time! Thank you.

Perfect pitch in a very peaceful setting
Small Tent - Small Non Electric Grass Pitch May 2025 Stayed for 2 nights whilst walking the ODP.
Our pitch was spacious and secluded, plenty of space for our little 2 man tent and a really nice surprise having a covered picnic table and firepit area.
Facilities were immaculate and the shower was the best one I had throughout our whole trip! Plenty of piping hot water. Great little campers cabin with a microwave and fridge, plus basic camping supplies.
Mel and Rob were very friendly and it was lovely learning about the site and how they look after it.

Just wonderful
Backpacker Tent - Non Electric Grass Walker/Cyclist Pitch May 2025 If George Orwell had written of the perfect campsite, rather than pub, I imagine WCC would have been a pretty close fit.
Nestled within a beautiful pocket of Welsh countryside, a few minutes drive from Llangollen, WCC allows you to enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife surrounding you, while providing all the amenities and creature comforts for the perfect stay.
Rob, it was great to meet you. Congratulations on what you and Mel have created, it is a wonder. We can't wait to come back.

Lovely and too short
VW-Type Campervan - Small Non Electric Grass Pitch Apr 2025 We had a lovely stay at Wild Cherry Campsite. We stayed with a roof tent, which worked fine.
You each have your own pitching spot with picknick table, which makes you really feel like you are all alone at the site. Waking up with the chirping birds definitely added to the appeal.
We only stayed for a night, and we were gutted we had a next stop already booked and we couldn't stay for a night more.

A secluded and beautiful eco campsite
Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches (Hayfield) Sep 2024 This spot is just perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. Each pitch comes with a firepit and a covered area so that come rain or shine you'll be ok.
There's a great white water rafting place nearby too! The hosts were super helpful and keep stock of wood for the fire and other camping supplies at their tuck shop.
Highly recommend a stay here.

Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches (Hayfield) Jun 2024 I have never known a campsite with so much space and with such amazing facilities! Our own toilet, our own covered picnic table and just 4 pitches in a beautiful massive field.
We absolutely loved this place and felt very very spoilt. Thank you, thank you. Xx

A great all round holiday destination
Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches (Hayfield) Jul 2023 I can't praise the site highly enough, it was everything that was advertised and more. The owners for friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The pitch was in a great location and the facilities were excellent.
