The mature, landscaped grounds at Blackland Lakes Campsite and Fishing Lakes provide a pleasant backdrop for a calming and relaxing break. It has a unique and informal layout which lends itself to all kinds of camping. Paddocks offer a range of electric hook ups and non-hook up options with central open areas so that whether you are with a group, in an RV or camping alone, you can find a space that's comfortable for you.

About Blackland Lakes

This 15 acres comprises six tree-lined camping paddocks and three small lakes, two for coarse fishing and one as a nature reserve for wildfowl. There are grass pitches for caravans, campervans, motorhomes and tents, most with electric hook-up available and 15 hardstanding, fully serviced premium pitches. To avoid overcrowding the pitches are marked and provide adequate space between each unit. There's plenty to do onsite, such as fishing and exploring the nature trail which runs around the site with information points to help learn about the local wildlife, vegetation and the resident pygmy goats (Billy, Marshmallow, Summer, Domino, Lucky and Capri) in the Spring Lake Nature Enclosure. Activity leaflets for children and special goat food can be purchased at reception. Adults and children alike will also enjoy the popular onsite bar open on Fridays and Saturdays serving drinks, pizza, ice creams and more. There's plenty of space for group activities and games, with the added bonus of no busy roads nearby. Well behaved dogs are welcome on a lead.
