Wow what a campsite. Beautifull grounds, level pitches, spotlessly clean facilities, super quiet even with most pitches being used. Beautiful 10 minute stroll into the stunning village of Lacock. This is the best site we have stayed in and would highly recommend it without hesitation.

A very nice campsite in a very beautiful setting. Lacock is definitely worth a visit and can be reached quickly on foot from the campsite. Check-in was also easy; we received our pitch number via email and didn't have to go to reception. Very convenient!

A nice walk into town, although the main road is a bit hairy! Could do with a pedestrian crossing. Good bus service into Chippenham. Very clean and well maintained site.

The toilets and showers were clean and well kept. It was well kept and in a lovely location. The site was a short walk away from Lacock which had a couple of pubs serving good quality food..

Fantastic site! Facilities very modern & clean. Motorhome pitch lovely - site split into small hedged areas. Rachel very helpful & flexible in arranging pitch change (to get more sun!). Very quiet & 10 mins walk to Lacock village centre (pubs, small general stores, etc).

Had a lovely time at Piccadilly, great location and a walk into Lacock is a must! As complete newbie's to life in a campervan we found everything that was needed was there and everyone was so helpful. Look forward to a return soon. Such a chilled out weekend with lido, our Spanish Mastif who loved every minute 😊

Just had a lovely week at Picadilly Camp Site in Lacock. The weather was glorious, which makes all the difference when camping, but even if we'd had normal spring weather, this campsite would have delivered. The facilities are brand new this year, shower and toilet block s are immaculate. Showers hot, toilets clean and lovely hand washing products. Even in the older block there's separate washing cubicles you can use as the showers there are now out of use because of the new ones. There's also two new machines, washing and tumble, in the cabin where there's also three big washing up sinks. Hot water in those is plentiful. So many places to visit locally, especially if you're a NT member In the wooden reception cabin there are loads of leaflets of different places to visit. We will probably go back later in the season to explore some other places, a week wasn't long enough. The warden and his wife and Rachel the owner are very approachable and helpful. The warden came over for a chat one evening and before we left wishing us safe journey. Another thing is lots of supermarkets about ten/fifteen mins away. We visited the Aldi in Melksham and stocked up for the week. We didn't eat out as it was BBQ weather, last week of April, amazing. So we made the most of the lovely evenings, lighting a fire as well outside. A brilliant stay, Lacock village itself is just gorgeous.

Nice clean and tidy site, only a short walk from the lovely Lacock Village. For eating out, we recommend The Rising Sun, their Pie of the Day was amazing but go for the small portion 😉

Great campsite. Thank you for a lovely stay. Facilities were really good and kept clean (and warm!). Playground for young kids was new and a decent size. Asked for a quiet pitch and we were given exactly that. Brilliant idea to have a field dedicated to ball games. Location is excellent as it's a 5 min drive to a retail park and only half an hour away from Longleat Safari. Would definitely recommend.

We have found facilities very clean. It was very considered to assign us a pitch near the playground for the kids. Was very quiet and we left very happy.

Last minute booking, campsite very quiet as near the end of the season. Facilities very well maintained. 10 minute walk into Lacock with choice of pubs and places to eat. Very faint traffic noise from the A350 but this did not cause a disturbance.

Ideally placed for visiting Lacock. Just need to cross a busy A road, otherwise a few minutes walk. All good with site and it's facilities. Problem was the warden. There was a large group of family campers with a dozen children. They really enjoyed the adventure playground. They were very polite to us other campers, but the warden did not like the (happy) noise they made in the playground, and stopped it all. Our friends had already been challenged for letting their dog bark for a few minutes. This is a site best suited to the silent minority who really value quiet but not peace.
Convenient site outside Lacock

A great site. The facilities were clean and adequate for our needs. We had a warm welcome, it was short walk to the picturesque village, where there are good pubs (albeit across a busy road). Would recommend.

What a wonderful and quiet site. The pitches are great and the toilet blocks are clean and tidy. The best part for me was how helpful the warden, Ashley, was. Him and his wife couldn't have done more for me while I was there. I will definitely go again.

Very nice quiet site. Only stayed one night. A lady greeted us but we didn't realise she was the warden. A good place for couples.
Good communication prior to arrival, clear directions

All info received once booking made was clear and timely. Pitches narrow, especially for twin axle but for 1 night, adequate. Would have required more room for a longer stay, if we'd have put an awning up, we would have been on top of neighbours. Wardens were working on site but despite passing us several times, made no contact - not very friendly.
Lovely small site

Lovely little site with clean toilets and showers. The site is well laid out, all the pitches are flat and reasonably level. It is located only a short walk from the town of Laycock, which has two great pubs and definitely worth a visit. Also not too far away from Bath.
