Large Tent - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesSep 2023

Wish had stayed longer. Fantastic site for families with children under 8 due to what's there for the children, soft play/climbing frames, play houses and lots of cars. The water area was really enjoyed by lots of kids there, the sand pit one side. For the adults, the beers and ciders was very fairly priced and good coffee served. Plenty of food available if you don't want to cook. Overall, would rate it highly, we will be returning ourselves.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesSep 2023

1st visit with a campervan. Excellent service from friendly and welcoming staff. Small but clean facilities. Perfect for families with an excellent play park and lovely lakeside walks. Cafe had a basic, but good selection with scaled down portions for children. Slightly pricey but excellent service.

Motorhome - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesSep 2023

Stayed for 2 nights with our 4 year old granddaughter - her first camping experience. Whilst she loved the play facilities, we found the park to be a bit tired and in need of an uplift. £45 per night with a minimum of 2 night stay is very expensive - never paid this for a site before. The wardens were not very friendly and a bit strict with the rules - almost chasing you off the site after the 10am check out (very early for a campsite - never experienced this early check out before) even though the park was pretty empty.

A great campsite to see tourist attractions in Wiltshire

Medium Tent - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesAug 2023

Friendly staff, good facilities (especially if you had younger kids, the play area looked well equipped). On site café was OK, had a couple of sausage and bacon rolls one morning that seemed nicely cooked, especially as the bacon was the medallions. Site was a bit off the beaten track but easily enough found with Google maps. The facilities were good and we were luckily on a pitch not far from the toilet block so easily walked to and from. Unfortunately not all the guests left theses as clean as they could as showers were often dirty with mud despite plenty of signs saying please leave these facilities as you would like to find them! Pity. Overall a good and friendly place to stay. The only minor issue was the blue/grey waste disposal did produce a unpleasant smell a couple of evenings. Would possibly try a lodge or at least try the fishing as the lakes looked peaceful. We had a really nice time and enjoyed our stay. Many thanks again for the use of the freezer for freezer blocks to keep the cool box cool.

Large Tent - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesAug 2023

Arrived on site and greeted by amazingly friendly staff that showed us where everything was. We arrived early, but were able to use all the facilities including the fab soft play area, that our group's children spent most of their time in!! They really have thought of everything to cover all ages here, my kids loved the pirate themed afternoon and digging for treasure!! The site is kept super clean and the settings around the lakes are beautiful. Also just to mention the cafe on site serves up a delicious breakfast and the coffee is great! We will definitely return.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesAug 2023

Loved this campsite. Will come back again. Great location, lovely park for the children with cafe (not that we tried it). Great fishing facilities and very dog friendly. That's for a great few days.

Brilliant site for families!

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesAug 2023

Really nice, clean and friendly campsite which has lots to keep children entertained which is a huge plus. It was very peaceful and has a lovely lake to walk around or fish. Pitches are well spaced out and facilities are very well equipped and clean. Would definitely stay again. Great for day trips to Stonehenge and Salisbury, Imberbus and even the Jurrasic Coast if you fancy an adventure. Close to shops by car and Wiltshire generally was beautiful, so great stay all round.

Large Tent - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesAug 2023

Fabulous place for our young family to have a camping holiday! Showers and toilets always clean, park and soft play handy for little ones. Fab location also. Always someone around if you needed anything. Cafe well stocked and food we had was lovely. Really appreciated the little evening walks around the lake and soft play for the little one when the weather wasn't our friend. Only thing to note is that the pitch includes your parking space which meant it was a bit tight for our tent to fit on the grass but we managed. Just would've been good to know so we were prepared. Definitely recommend and will return ourselves!

Medium Tent - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesJun 2023

Very quick check in and pitch was not far away. Hook up was easy and lots of space. Food and drink was reasonably priced and good quality. Staff friendly and helpful. Walk to the lakes is on one level and so peaceful, ideal for a walk or to feed the ducks! Big kids play area so imagine this would be quite busy and noisy in high season. Lovely one night stay 😊

Motorhome - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesJun 2023

Stayed 2 nights whilst visiting family in the area, arrival and booking in was very simple and quick, reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The motorhome pitch we were allocated was spacious & level with gravelled parking bays and a grassed area surrounded by hedges. Water and hook-up available in the pitch. Site was quiet at the time of our visit with a few spare pitches around us. Would not hesitate to visit again.
