Large Tent - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesSep 2023

Wish had stayed longer. Fantastic site for families with children under 8 due to what's there for the children, soft play/climbing frames, play houses and lots of cars. The water area was really enjoyed by lots of kids there, the sand pit one side. For the adults, the beers and ciders was very fairly priced and good coffee served. Plenty of food available if you don't want to cook. Overall, would rate it highly, we will be returning ourselves.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesSep 2023

1st visit with a campervan. Excellent service from friendly and welcoming staff. Small but clean facilities. Perfect for families with an excellent play park and lovely lakeside walks. Cafe had a basic, but good selection with scaled down portions for children. Slightly pricey but excellent service.

Motorhome - Electric Tent and Touring Grass and Gravel PitchesSep 2023

Stayed for 2 nights with our 4 year old granddaughter - her first camping experience. Whilst she loved the play facilities, we found the park to be a bit tired and in need of an uplift. £45 per night with a minimum of 2 night stay is very expensive - never paid this for a site before. The wardens were not very friendly and a bit strict with the rules - almost chasing you off the site after the 10am check out (very early for a campsite - never experienced this early check out before) even though the park was pretty empty.
