New favourite site

Peaceful sea view site. There is a private path to get to the white cliffs. We saw some puffins and went to the visitors centre for dinner. We will be back.

Nice quite site in a great location

We really enjoyed our short stay. Friendly welcome from the site owners. It's a really nice quiet location close to the cliffs. Would've been good to have shower facilities (there are showers, but they're out of commission), but otherwise the site facilities met our needs. Would stay here again.

Not a great stay

Arrived and had a lovely welcome from the lady that greeted us and was able to choose our on pitch. Unfortunately, two campers next to us had loud music on until after midnight and were exceptionally loud when talking to each other and when shouting at their voice activated music system. About 10 flags on poles that kept us awake flapping all night. The toilet facilities need a good upgrade as they are very tired. Dogs off leads in the central long grass area toileting all over and owners not cleaning up after them was also off putting, especially when children were going to play in that area. Such a shame as the location is beautiful with birds, the cliffs and sheep grazing.

We are glad you found our location beautiful. Unfortunately the group beside you all booked in separately. We instructed them to be quiet at 10:30pm. We hung around for 10 minutes to ensure they did. We are sorry that they resumed after this. It is the first time in a number of years that we have had to ask a guest to be quiet. Other reviews generally point out simply how peaceful our site is. The facilities are only 11 years old. Only last year we installed new toilets. They got painted over winter.

Sea views and puffins

Stunning location with great sea views. We saw puffins on the sites chalk cliffs and had a walk to North Landing. A fisherman was offering boat trips here. We saw dolphins on the way back to the site. The Seabirds does nice meals. We went to sea the seals at the lighthouse. Will definitely return.

Lovely campsite

This is a lovely campsite based over two fields. There is drinking water, grey waste, chemical toilet disposal and dishwashing facilities on site, which are all clean. The unique selling point is the access to the cliffs between RSPB Bempton and Thornwick Bay. The walk (about 1/3rd of a mile) along a wide path and then across a field takes you to the cliffs where you can see puffins and gannets nesting at this time of year. The site is also about 15 min drive to RSPB Bempton. There is a toilet block split between male and female, but no showers. This is made very clear when booking, so was not a problem for us. The owner was very helpful and informative. Will happily stay there again next time we are in the area.

A little gem

A gem of a find with private access to the coastal path. I walked to Flamborough and also to Bempton Cliffs direct from the site. A lovely welcome on arrival, wonderful views, extremely peaceful. It would be nice if there was a shower, but not the end of the world. I'll definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Well run camping site

A real pleasure staying here. The site is found at the end of a farm track which can be quite bumpy in places. We took our low slung twin axle caravan up it and by taking our time, had no problems navigating it. We were met at the front gate by one of the owners and her son, who were very friendly and showed us to our pitch which was located in the first field. It was level and spacious and near to a water point. Perfect. The toilet block was about 30m from our pitch and was clean and well stocked with soap and toilet paper. It also had a hot air hand dryer. There are no showers which did not bother us as we use our caravan facilities but could be a problem for longer stays in the likes of a campervan. The site is well kept and the grass is cut often. It is very well located for the sea cliffs which at this time of year are home to thousands of nesting sea birds. We even managed to see a puffin with sand eels hanging from its mouth. It is also handy for Flamborough, Bempton an Bridlington. I would recommend this site to anyone as being one of the most friendly sites I've visited. Even the farmer was extremely sociable. Now you don't get better than that.

Amazing private access to Bempton Cliffs and cliff path walks. Simple but calm and peaceful site, not overcrowded. Good communication about having no showers, which was not a problem for us.

Excellent

Lovely campsite, with absolutely stunning views of the sea and cliffs. Short walk along a path to the cliff tops with a walk in either direction seeing puffins, and other sea birds nesting on the cliffs. Wonderful to see and hear nature as it should be. Fantastic sheep farm was an added bonus to see them walking along in groups along the shared footpath for both them and us campers.

Perfect stay on this site! You couldn't be any closer for a spot of bird watching. Fantastic views also. The facilities was very clean & staff are friendly. Only negative is the road in is very bumpy, but wouldn't stop another visit.

Wold Farm Review

Really great location and very helpful owners. Access to the cliff path is a fantastic bonus. The site is small, well maintained with good spacing between vehicles.

Fantastic little site for bird lovers

Peaceful, friendly, and well-located We stayed at The Wolds campsite for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's in a brilliant location - just a short walk from the cliff tops near Bempton Cliffs, with easy access to the coastal path leading towards either Bempton or Flamborough. Perfect if you're into seabirds, as the cliffs are home to puffins, gannets and more during the breeding season. The site is clean, well-kept, and very peaceful. Plenty of space, good electric hook-ups, and the pitches, while slightly sloped, were perfectly manageable. Toilets were immaculate, and while there are no showers, we knew that when we booked - so no surprise there. The owners gave us a warm welcome and were helpful with advice on the best birdwatching spots. Everyone we met was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The weather was kind — mostly sunny — though the wind off the North Sea reminded us to bring warm layers, even in good weather! All in all, a great little site. We'd definitely return. Ideal for a quiet break with amazing access to nature and the coast.

Great site, beautiful location

This is a wonderful location, with a short path to the cliff path to Brampton or Flamborough. Very warm welcome, with guidance to the best spots for bird watching and pubs. Toilets are immaculate, obviously no showers, but grey and black waste disposal. Pitches are spacious, most have at least some degree of slope, EHU's are well positioned, you won't need a long lead. The site is very quiet, and isolated to a degree, perfect for us.

5 stars all round. Lovely remote location. Very quiet. Basic but functional facilities. Cannot complain and will def come back again.

Love the peace and quiet

A great little site especially if you like 👍 to watch bird's 🐦 on the sea cliffs. The only draw back was no shower's but we knew that when we booked. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Would definitely return on a later date, no problem at all.

Coastal gem

This is a beautiful quiet site, dog friendly, right on the doorstep of the coastal path. For any bird watchers, this is a fantastic site, you can walk to Bempton cliffs within 10 minutes and further a field in to Filey if you are energetic. The other way to Flamborough and further afield. The site is just a nice size, great size pitches, clean toilets, wash area with hot water for pots, grey & black waste disposal areas, couldn't fault this site.

Lovely stay

Lovely site, well kept. Ideal site for visiting the cliff walks. Loads of birds, we saw puffins. The colony of seals at the lighthouse was good to see. Definitely be back👍🏻
