Clear filters Remote site for peace and quiet
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2025 Quiet site. Washing up area, showers, toilets satisfactory.
Pub good walk away. Bit too far for us to get back after a pint of two. We ate out at old star inn. Food very nice, very busy and when we arrived at 5pm thinking it would be fine we did get a table but frankly it felt like they were doing us a favour by taking our 60 pounds..
Spacious well tended site.

Site facilities as good as any we have stayed at. Excellent hosts.

A lovely stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2025 We had a brief, but lovely stay at Thorpe Hall. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pitches were well spaced and facilities good and very clean with plenty of hot water.
It was good to have a recreation area where dogs were allowed. Sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Excellent stay - Thorpe Hall Caravan park
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jun 2025 Excellent stay here - good sized pitches, well organised, neat and tidy, well-looked after site.
The facilities were immaculately clean at all times and heated when needed. Site is in beautiful location.
Would definitely recommend and will return.
This goes down as one of our top caravan sites to stay at.

Lovely, quiet and tranquil

Toilets and showers were spotless. The whole place was brilliant.

Caravan site holiday
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches May 2025 Lovely quiet site with clean facilities.
Lovely playing field for games and dogs. Enjoyed the fishing lake and walks with dogs straight from the site. Will definitely return.

Nice site in a nice place
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2025 Great site at a handy location for the coast and the Wolds countryside.
Excellent local pub 5mins walk with interesting history and archaeology in the village.

Excellent site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2025 Just spent a night on route to visit a friend and would highly recommend this campsite.
Neil and his wife who manage the site were excellent hosts. We will be going back to stay longer this year. It's a great location for exploring and visiting the east coast. The site and facilities were spotless and well maintained.

Too much traffic noise Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2025 On arrival, the park looked lovely. We were welcomed by a member of staff who provided us with a leaflet.
We requested a pitch near the facilities, however we were placed as far away as could be. I just presumed the other pitches were not available for our stay. However, there had been pitches empty which we could have been given. Our pitch was close to the road, which we thought was a quiet road, unfortunately, this wasn't to be. From very early in the morning, the traffic was quite noisy.
We were also disappointed to find the park don't provide recycling. As regards facilities for dogs, we were not impressed that a huge field is used as a dual purpose for both dog walking and children playing ball games. Surely the field should be divided in two so one half is for ball games and the other for dogs? Some dog mess can be quite loose and I wouldn't like my grandchildren playing ball games where dogs are exercised.

Thank you for your review and rating and sincere apologies as we had not noticed your 'request' when transferring your stay onto our own booking system.
We wish you'd have mentioned to us on arrival that you'd hoped to be close to facilities as we could have moved you to one of the island pitches in the middle of the site. We currently have receptacles for glass in each of the bin areas and dog waste bin on the drive, the other waste is sorted at the depot by a private company.
With reference to the games field, thank you for your suggestion and this will be discussed with the wider team for debate. It is worth noting however that there is a public right of way through the field so dividing it isn't quite as simple as it may seem.

Beautiful, peaceful site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2025 Beautiful, peaceful site. Well laid out and well maintained. Facilities were spotless, good hot showers with a hand turn on and unlimited.
Even the dogs are catered for with a nice big field. There are also some walks from the site. We will definitely be booking another stay here.

Nice and clean site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Mar 2025 Nice and clean site.
Not overly big and situated nicely between Flamborough and Bridlington. Shower facilities were immaculate and cleaned daily.

Short break
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Oct 2024 This is a really nice campsite in a wonderful setting.
The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had the best possible pitch for our needs. The facilities ranked as high as any that I've come across in much more expensive club sites. We will certainly return here.

Great stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Sep 2024 Really great stay - 1 night with our small family and dog.
Great location for Filey, Bridlington and the rest of the coast. We had been at the kite festival and planned this as an overnight stop.
Very clean, and family friendly. Really quiet and very well organised.

Great site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2024 Myself and my husband enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very nice and accommodating, they were happy to help with anything.
It was very peaceful and quiet, there were wall surrounding the site, which was nice. The exercise field was great for our dogs. It's not too far away from the seaside, which was great.

A grand time
Motorhome - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2024 A beautifully kept and maintained site. First trip away in the van with my partners two sons and they loved it. Facilities are excellent and we played cricket on the large sports field. Can't fault the place, we had a grand time.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2024 The site was in a lovely location, however the disabled facilities doubles up as a family bathroom, so as a disabled person, I had to wait while multiple people bathed or showered. I feel that a separate disabled toilet would be an asset to the site.

Lovely site
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2024 The site was lovely, well maintained for the most part, although there were times where the toilet block was showing usage. There were 3 toilets blocked at one point. Staff were made aware and they got on it immediately, but had to be informed of the issue.
There is a board that shows who is on what pitch. This is updated once a week, so when you leave mid week, your pitch may have someone else on it.

The arrivals board is updated at the start of every week and then daily as and when required, but once guests are pitched up they need not worry should another name appear on the board for their pitch number (this is just the next arrival after they leave).
The x3 gents toilets mentioned are on the same pipework which meant they all became blocked at the same time. As we are a small team of 2 we're not always aware of any problems as we can't be on site 24/7. We welcome guests letting us know of any issues that they may encounter whilst staying with us so that we can do our best to resolve them. Thank you for bringing them to our attention so that we were able to attend (on this occasion it required the attendance of a plumber).
