First Time Happy Campers

Great first time camping experience certainly helped by the fantastic camp site. The location, facilities and size were brilliant and just what we needed. Our daughter loved it too. The bar is great and loved the games, we are coffee drinkers so the coffee caravan was perfect also. We will be back and will recommend.

1 night stay to break long journey

Gorgeous little site which was perfect for breaking our drive from Aberdeen to Norfolk. Cheery, friendly and welcoming staff. Large pitches (we were on gravel). Pub on site. Pizza van in the evening: Made in a proper pizza oven - yummy! Hot breakfast food available in the morning. Cute little coffee and cake shop in a repurposed caravan. Wash block a little small for size of site but a new building is going up. Highly recommend and would happily have stayed for longer.

Well equipped, quiet site with it's own pub

Stayed one night whilst following Tour of Britain in my motorbike. Booked only couple of hours before check in. Owners could not have been more welcoming. The site is a little remote but concerns of finding a pub in walking distance unfounded as well stocked lounge bar at reception. Beautifully clean. I only found one shower; not a problem for me as site very quiet.

Nice park but CCTV very offputting

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Apple Blossom. The park is great and has lots of plus points - bar onsite and the prices are really good. There's a pizza van on a Friday which do stone baked pizzas at around £7 per pizza and a burger van which does kebabs, burgers etc on a Saturday which are really nice additions. We did bingo last night which was fun but didn't start til 8.30pm which did feel like it was a bit late for the children but was good fun. There is CCTV everywhere even in the children's play park. While I understand the owners obviously want to protect their site, having stayed at numerous sites I have never known this happen before. It felt very intrusive as it was in the play park, by the toilets and by the coffee van. It was the only thing which has put us off.

I am so pleased you had a good stay and enjoyed the facilities and food. The bingo is a bit of fun and we try to engage with all guests but understand 8:30 could be a little late. We have tried various times but this seems so far to be the best time for most people. The CCTV on site is compulsory for our insurance and licensing and there to offer to protection and peace of mind to all. I'm so sorry if this felt intrusive :-( Lisa and Dean

Brilliant campsite

We have just come back from a beautiful little campsite we stayed for two nights and it was lovely. The owners are fabulous and couldn't be more helpful. The fish and chip van was a success and the stables bar is great for family's kids games and a great selection of drinks. Would highly recommended.

Fantastic little site

Lovely little site with great facilities. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Very well kept and great onsite bar and coffee van. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent site

A really nice site with plenty of facilities and a friendly welcome. A good bar on site too. Some elements (the shop, the play area) were probably more useful for those spending more of the day on site, because they were only open 10-8. Football goals were a plus for children. Really good overall: I'd definitely recommend it.

The playpark is opened from 10am to 8pm providing 10 hours of great play and the football nets until dark (these are the hours I'm licensed for by the local council). Our stay

The pitches were lovely and a really good size. Toilets and showers were quite dated, as was the washing-up area. We didn't think it was the best. Lovely pub with really nice staff and not overpriced. Park is for young children up to about age 8. Didn't use the food vans, but they seemed popular. A lovely, quiet site.

Thank you for your feedback - we really appreciate it. The pitches are huge and we are so happy you liked that. The park is for children under 12, designed for hours of fun. I'm sad you thought the toilets were dated - they are in fact only 3 years old. We have kept them in line with the building which is old stables and designed to be 'big, spacious and rugged'. Again, the wash area is in line with a trough Belfast sink. The food vans are very popular ;-) You take care and see you another time. Lisa and Dean.

Exactly what we needed

Lovely bar, easy quick check in, clean facilities. We came as 2 adults alone but left thinking of bringing the kids so they can use the park and enjoy pizzas etc.

Lovely site

Nice clean site, with very spacious pitches, facilities kept in immaculate condition. The staff are really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them. Pizza van on a Friday night, burger van on a Saturday night on site. The pub is great and nicely done with games for the kids and bingo on a Saturday night. Would definitely recommend and would love to return in the future.

Lovely campsite

Just back from a lovely weekend break. The park is fab if you have little ones, especially in the meadow as it has no drive through and is really safe. The play park is a great addition and we could let the children play safely whilst we relaxed, as it's visible from most of the meadow. The shower blocks are at the other end of the park and the toilet/washing up block in the meadow is basic but this didn't affect our stay and the park is only small so it's just a 5 minute walk to the main shower rooms, if that. At peak times, you do have to queue but I we didn't wait longer than 10 minutes and the park was full. I cannot really comment on location as we were just there for the weekend and we didn't need to venture. Lisa and the team make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. The bar was great. I cannot comment on the food trucks as we didn't use due to allergies, but the food looked good. We enjoyed our weekend so much we tried to book for another weekend but it was already sold out. Just shows how popular it is. We will definitely be back in the future.

Great site, clean and well kept.

Hidden gem

Lovely site, can't wait to go back. Really big pitches, owners are very nice and helpful and the coffee van is so cute. We ate from the catering vans Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The food was lovely each time. The bar is good too and very reasonably priced.

A real little gem

In the area visiting relatives. What a lovely little site, very welcoming and great facilities for the size of site, which were always clean. Didn't use the visiting catering but seemed very popular, as did the bar. Will certainly return on my next visit to the area.

Very welcoming and facilities were very clean. The little coffee caravan is a great touch also!

Fantastic stay

We stayed at Apple Blossom for a weekend. We were given a really friendly greeting and given all the information about the site that we would need, plus a great info sheet on the local area for shops, food etc. The food vans over the weekend were great quality and a good price, my partner was also very happy to see the Villa game was on in the pop up bar. We will definitely be staying again, and have already been recommending the site to friends. I only dropped a star for facilities because of there only being 1 shower in the women's and men's, which meant a little wait for my partner, but I went later in the evening and didn't have to wait.
